Ordered a nice cocktail off the menu for $33. When bill came, I was charged $62. No warning. Manager said the menu they gave us was just wrong- no effort whatsoever to accommodate. Twenty + time customer. No more.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR EASTER BRUNCH!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT...DO NOT GO HERE. Don't know where to start....well, the bread dish was cold from the fridge! Which, also, by the way, the whole place was cold. We all wished we brought winter coats!!!!!! I complained about the ice cold bread and all the waiter said was "we have to put it in the fridge". He didn't even offer to heat it up! The "buffet" was well, shall I say, it leaves a lot to be desired. Old scrambled eggs, disgusting chicken, horrible sausages, wilted salad, etc. etc........I only liked the mac and cheese and the fresh carved prime rib. That is what I ate for $42.00. The waiter at the beginning said "bottomless mimosas". Little did I know I would be charge at the end for that as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very, very disappointing. By far the worst place I have ever been!!! My son's pancakes were hockey pucks! No syrup. We had to ask three times for syrup. Don't restaurants usually keep syrup and ketchup on the table???? The vegetables were gross. Shrimp, yes, good. But not worth all that I spent $220!
First time visiting this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food. A bit pricey but portion size was appropriate for the cost. All beef was cooked exactly as requested The risotto was bit overdone and the lava cake was more of a flour less cake. Overall I would go back.
Went there for a date with my husband. Service was nice but food was horrible. I ordered a burger and when it came both the burger and bun were burnt and when I say burnt I meant black. My husband ordered steak which was also burnt and overcooked not once but twice because he has if they could remake it. Didn’t even touch the food . Asked for a refund and left. Will not go back again
The food is good, but picking up a order to go leaves something to be desired. For a 17 dollar Caesar salad it would be nice to get the dressing that is supposed to come with the salad. Also for delivery would be nice to get any sort of utensils. Called in to ask if was supposed to come with dressing, and utensils, they said yes, they did offer to give it to me if I drove back. I declined, did not want to drive 10 mins back and 10 mins back to work in rain. No other restitution was offered, they did apologize though.
Great restaurant had 20 person party there over the summer and go often with smaller groups and never a bad meal,atmosphere and service great ,tonight had steak and baked stuffed fish ?
We had three days to plan my moms gathering for after her funeral. Alden Park was absolutely amazing in helping us create an event that was perfect for our family. They were prompt with their responses, had great suggestions and provided food that everyone raved about. Thank you Alden Park!
Pretty underwhelming all around. If it wasn't for the nice firepit it'd be one star for sure. Don't like firepits? Skip it, 100%. Worst food we had on this trip came from here and we ate at Domino's, too.
Restaurant looks nice, didnt get to eat since the website says reservations are only required for groups of 8 or more but when we got there the host asked us for a reservation and offered a 45 minute wait time, however, when we tried to book a reservation through the online service it said it had availability in less than 2 minutes. Don't know what the real reason was they didnt want to sit us but ended up going to Olive garden accross the way
Had a young man Brian who works for alden park help me plan the dinner, From the wait staff the drinks and food everything was excellent.
