Last night I went to dinner here and the entire experience was great. It was my friends birthday and we had a party of 4 but we took a little extra time to decide what we wanted to eat because we were catching up on missed time. Our waitress was so nice about this. The menu had a please be patient due to staffing clause at the bottom but our service was great and I never noticed any issue! We each had drinks and apps and meals and everything was delicious. I got the vegetarian lasagna on a whim and It was amazing. Im 7 months pregnant and can confidently say this is going to be my newest craving. Thankfully the portion was large and I was able to enjoy it again for lunch today! Can’t wait to go back!
What a great place!The food was amazing and I was pleasantly surprised with the bill, I thought it was going to be a lot more!The service is also very good!The atmosphere is just beautiful!My new favorite restaurant!…And they have a tasty Caesar dressing! It must be homemade.
Service took a bit long as expected, waitress was good but my filet mignon was overcooked, and i was refused other compensation other than a drink. Steak was well done and tasteless, was ordered medium well. I was told by who I believe to be a manager that medium well has no pink in it, which is how it was sent out. He stated it was never sent back (the waitress chose not to because "by the time I got another one it would be ten oclock". Very disappointing, considering I was looking forward to being outside and enjoying the beautiful view.
4/2322Drove 2.5 hours to meet elderly relatives for dinner @4:30pm. We’re there for view. Seated at opening to restrooms and place was empty. Asked for table with view. That was the only good part of the experience. Coming from Boston area found prices ridiculously outrageous, come on … $40.00 for a NY sirloin that was barely an inch thick (if that) and fatty. I ordered it “medium rare but more on the rare side (allowing for most likely over cooking) and it was over cooked. Sent it back. The other elderly couple ordered their filet well done and it looked like it came from a burnt out building, but they are afraid of meat so … they didn’t care. My second steak came out raw. Sent it back. Ordered shrimp. Owner came out and screamed at me! So loudly … “We cooked you two steaks…. blah blah … I will comp this entire table!” I told her “Not necessary, but everyone is already finished and obviously no one can grill a steak”. Then the shrimp comes out much later and we have it packed up. I need another terrible tasting Martini which at this point comprised my dinner except for some chips and dip, and fried mozzarella. Wow. Everyone is onto dessert.The waitress was new, but lovely. The manager was very nice. The owner should stay in her office. For another $15.00 I could get a fabulous, real deal NY sirloin back home. What was served looked like it came from a local grocery store.My buddy was happy with his shrimp. I wouldn’t dare eat my take home.Overpriced, don’t order meat … unless you want overdone, poor quality for an outrageous price.Enjoy the view and appetizers. Otherwise it’s a horrible experience.
Gorgeous place on Lake Pontoosuc !! Weddings and other Events held here. Huge place. My Landlord says food is Excellent. She had a wake there. Support local Business ?

Beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful views of Pontoosuc Lake!! The Melville's Mac & Cheese (I added bacon) was so delicious and creamy and filling (they took a classic and refined it while preserving the comfort food of the dish).
Went for lunch . Went for a visit with Santa. Great place and good food. A little pricey but worth it
I recently have been to this place twice. Each time the staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. We sat outside and have a great view of the lake. Never been disappoint with service or food
