We frequently order from the Ranch and last nights dinner was superb! I had the special, “Gnocchi” and my husband had the appetizer of “Mussels” of which was a meal in itself. Hats off to Steve Pero, the chef! Delish!??? Also, I want to thank Morgan..for her awesome service!??
We sat on the outdoor patio for a late lunch. Picnic tables were available, but lots of customers. A good sign! It was a perfect day to sit outside. Our fried fish sandwiches were a generous size and delicious. The tartar sauce had a touch of tarragon; very good. The fries were lightly seasoned and salted, just what I was hoping for. Perfectly crisp pickles were a perfect accompaniment. We had a great waitress. Our lunches were served quickly.
The quality seems to have gone down somewhat since the last time I visited. Buns weren't steamed, the sauce was not as tasty and the taps were haven't been properly cleaned. This is a dive bar that could be a total gem with minimal effort. I have a much better experiences there before. Service was friendly and prompt.
The food was great and the young lady who took our order was very pleasant. They missed a couple of hot dogs that were meant for my dog but otherwise ?
I do like the friendly staff, and I especially like when the patio is open for dining. The nachos are good, and I like the Southwest salad. I do wish there were a few healthy options on the menu.
Food is average, but it was nice to be able to come in with a stranger I met on the street, help him get a meal and a bus ticket back to his kids, and then just enjoy the rest of my... decent but nothing special hot dog.Oh, and the name is funny, so it's worth visiting if only for a photo and a beer. Drink responsibly!
Absolute trash!!Was good years ago but now they close early without any notice, turn away customers and are rude.Not worth the disappointment to go here anymore unfortunately
Seems to be a local favorite. Being from out of town, I just don’t get it.Price is right. The food, well, that’s another story. Bland. Onion rings are frozen and not fresh. Greasy.I only go back when in MA because the local family loves it.
Delicious no frills foods. Got a hot dog and fried chicken sandwich. The food came out fast and piping hot. The hot dog is a mini hot dog with a glorious snap to the casing. Absolutely delicious with mustard and onion but almost got lost in the roll. Next time I'll get one plain so I can just taste the hot dog by itself. The chicken sandwich didnt come with toppings so I had to order it with LTO and mayo. Very crispy but not burned or dry. Was able to eat for under $10. Will be back again for a quick, inexpensive, and tasty meal.
Love the whole menu. The mini hotdogs are the best in town hands down.
