What an Awesome Italian oriented restaurant! Whether you want a Turkey dinner, a sandwich or homemade Italian Pastas, the menu has a huge variety to choose from with great prices! This place is Full of original History with a family atmosphere, from 1936! Great staff and service was unreal! I cannot wait to go back! Be sure to check out the Pie Case! The pie was amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. In tough times like these, Eat Local! Everyone can afford to eat here! Thank you Highland Restaurant! ??

This is an absolutely painful review to write, but due to my past 2 visits this unfortunately needs to be done. Firstly, the food is the same as ever; just superb. The one star review comes from the horrific nose-dive with regards to the service culture of the restaurant. I’d like to preface, this isn’t an indictment on Pasquale, he is a gentleman and a class act. The waitstaff just simply do not appear to have any level of care for their job functions or the patrons whatsoever. This has been the favorite restaurant of my family for decades. When my father was living he enjoyed the Highland food quite literally more than once a week. That personal connection to the business evidently no longer matters. Now I am met with extremely unfriendly and inattentive service. My past 2 visits I experienced wildly bizarre long wait times for very simple meals during non-busy hours. The staff were more concerned with socializing amongst themselves and with a select few customers than even addressing a dedicated longtime regular customer. Extremely disheartening that it no longer feels like visiting with extended family when stopping in for a meal. After my most recent visit it will be a very long time before I entrust them with my business (roughly $20 a week) again; which is very sad.

Traditional, iconic Pittsfield restaurant. Mostly Italian food but other options too. Staff is friendly, quick service.

You never can go wrong at the Highland. Great meal, great service.

Got the pork tenderlion entree, the menu said home fried potatoes, I was given INSTANT mashed potatoes. No vegetable and the tenderloin was pounded into shoe leather. Won't be back for a 2nd time.

Pasquale and brothers are standouts. Place is very clean and sanitary - the true gem of the Berkshires. Food selection and portions are excellant. Much superior to routine menus at national chain restaurants. Waitstaff is efficient and even smile now and then! There seems to be an increase in younger patrons which is great. They will find food that actually tastes like good home cooking should. Very few family-run places are left anywhere. City government should do all it can to assist and promote this gem next to City Hall instead of concentrating on $15 hamburg and what's-happening-now fly- by-night joints looking for a city government handout.

It was the same has its been sense i was a baby im 53 now. Been a wile, but they are great ?

Always good ! Scallops are amazing, yummy pasta.

The service was not that great this time it would have been nice if we didn't have to wait so long
