We went in for breakfast since our local favorite was closed for memorial day. We discovered after getting our plates that ALL THE FOOD WAS COLD. The bacon, sausage, French toast and especially the eggs were all cold! When we went to address our concerns, the only person there explained that the food was out since 6:30, and if he turned up the heat, the food would've dried up. Mind you, they were steam tables! You really can't go wrong! Anyhow he offered us direct from the kitchen more food. He served us hot eggs and potatoes which were much better. But then a curious thing happened. He came out with new pans of eggs and something else. Knowing our concerns, he brazenly [mixes the hot food with the cold food]. After seeing that? I was done. I told the other hotel guests the food was cold, and that he was bringing out more, but didn't expect him to mix the food together! The bill came to just over 14.00. The experience was horrible, and will take my dollars elsewhere. The food wasn't worth the cost.

Slow service, bland food, and no vegetarian entrees. Window views look out to the hotel pool where you can see guests swimming which is strange.

I have been to 101 restaurant multiple times while visiting the Berkshires and the food is incredible as well as the service. Definitely worth a visit if you are visiting the area, even if you aren’t staying at the hotel!

Decided to finally try 101 for dinner last evening ( why did we wait so long?). Started with the beet salad and Caesar, great choices, dressings were spot on. Dinners of shrimp and grits and gumbo were wonderful; haven’t had Southern inspired cooking like this in a long time! Best of all, they’re local and the friendly welcoming of the co-owners, John and Tucker completed a most pleasant dining experience.

A different selection of food to choose from and everything is amazing. The service is also exceptional!

High quality southern-style fare that would hold up in Charleston, SC. Go for fried chicken Wednesdays, and be sure to try the Cajun fries with gravy.

We were staying at the holiday inn and decided to visit this restaurant. The food was delicious. We got the gnocchi, smoked pork belly, oxtail toast and the crawfish mac and cheese. The drinks we good. To top it off the grapefruit creme brulee was out of this world, we even got one to go.??

Our first visit was amazing! I knew it was a destination restaurant that is frequented by locals for the quality and preparation. Not your typical hotel convenience meal.(We had the hushpuppies, Cajun salmon, steak sandwich special, drinks, and apple crisp.)

Such an amazing meal, we tried so many different options and they were all delicious. Top notch service and food!

Staff was friendly and attentive! Food was really good. You have to try the country fried pork, and good luck finishing it. The portion was huge! The bartender was so personable and gave great recommendations for the area since it was our first time visiting. Definitely coming back for a visit next year.
