The Pizza was F’n great. The cheese was God Like, and the crust was the second coming. The lamb kabobs were so good I might do confession tonight. The beef kabobs and cherry peppers brought me to knees. A true awakening experience.
The original Santarpio’s in East Boston is a landmark and is stiff competition for Regina’s in the North End , my favorite. The sausage is the best in the East Boston restaurant. It was pretty good here on Route 1 in Peabody but it was almost invisible, there was so little. So charge more but let it be more present on your pie please!!!
Visited Santarpios in Peabody last night there were seven of us. This was the Peabody location I have visited this place several other times and it was excellent I have to say last night was disgusting and it was an insult to the name Santarpio‘s Pizza. I grew up in East Boston we were at Santarpios every week it was phenomenal even as we got older we brought all our children there so because it’s a little more convenient and easier for parking we said to go on to Peabody not as good as East Boston but close but not anymore last night total disaster how do you get a salad that burns your mouth and I looked in the dressing it evidently had crushed red pepper in it I asked the waitress is this your normal salad now because I’ve gotten this here several times but I cannot even eat this her answer was I don’t know I guess the person making the seasoning had a heavy hand on the pepper really that’s your answer instead of taking it back and finding out what happened and bringing us back a regular one. Pizza was disgusting was an insult to call it Santarpio’s Pizza and we had four pizzas at the table. The sauce was disgusting the cheese was disgusting definitely was not mozzarella Santarpio‘s Pizza when you go to eat that you see the mozzarella all being pulled away well this was not this actually looked like something you took out a frozen box probably Papa Gino’s was better last night that Santarpios was the bread didn’t even look the same don’t know what was going on my son’s the type does not like to complain but we all decided afterwards that this was terrible food the pepper and onion pizza tiny little pieces little squares of pepper It did not even taste like pizza with peppers and onions all I can say is it’s a shame to call this Santarpios if this is going to be like this all the time I will not take the chance and go back again I will go to East Boston
Best pizza, best people, BEST LAMB!
Honestly the worst pizza I had ever eaten in my life, they are so overrated I got a dough that was stale. It seemed like they had it just sitting around and decided to just heat it up and serve it to me. Crust you couldn’t even eat it because it was stale and burnt. DEFINITELY not going back to this place. The worst pizza. Should of just gone to papa John’s for a better pizza!
What a disgusting place! Got seated with no menus and waited 15 minutes just to have the rude waitress say “be right with ya” and never saw her again. Place was empty but was seated in a dirty area. We walked out. Frank Santarpio would be horrified at what his kids have done to his legacy. The Peabody location needs to be shut down.
Saw santarpios on just one bite. I dont think this is the same pizza that got an 8.2. This pizza was ROCK HARD in 15 min. Couldnt finish the last slice. I ate the whole thing because its pizza but even bad pizza I can eat. This might be the first pizza I stopped eating. Rock hard. Crust was like eating a rolled newspaper. Sauce was really good. 7-eleven pizza is WAY BETTER
The pizza was burnt - like black on the bottom. Server was super busy and never got back to checking in with us regarding taste or if we needed additional beverages. Really was a bummer because the one in East Boston is really good
Best pizza around, cannot recommend enough. Plus their own red wine is very good. Please visit this fantastic establishment
Never go wrong here. Classic pizza Great BBQ and salads. Good drink menu with keno. Service was great and friendly. Very clean and comfortable.
