Please adjust your hours which are printed on every single door that is in the restaurant that clearly states business hours on Thursday are until 10. The host and what looked like possibly a manager were the absolute rudest people I’ve ever had to interact with and I’ve worked retail for 10 years. If you are gearing up to close AN HOUR EARLIER than what is printed on your door than simply LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW WHEN THEY SIT DOWN. Don’t wait until everyone in the restaurant is leaving to walk by the outside table and say “by the way we closed at 9” don’t dine here unless you’d like to be disrespected.
Lunch was served on a metal tray with nothing to grace it but the sandwich itself and a reversed cone of fries. The fries were difficult to access after the top section was consumed so I extracted the inside wrapper and placed it on the barren tray. The sandwich itself had decent flavor but I felt the portion was small for the price. I asked our waiter to please watch my water level as I have a tendency to drink a lot of liquid with my food. Didn't happen. My daughter wound up giving me her glass of water. Three lunches with two waters, a drink and three sandwiches plus tip came to around $75. As we all know, presentation, flavor and portion make for a decent meal and my lunch lacked two of those. Add in the waitstaff and you can understand why the place was almost empty.
Wow! Wish I could say something nice, but I can't! Selections sounded good but the order was subpar. First of all, part of good customer service is following customers' request....no pickles or tomatoes means just that! Then add the mayo and ketchup as requested. Also prices are outrageous, $10 for a slice of cake just because it's gluten free? C'mon!!
We enjoyed our dinner as we always do. Iy wasn't too crowded inside and a look around the dining room saw families enjoying their night. The food was delicious. Whether you go for chicken picatta or eggplant parm, you won't be disappointed. The only thing I would do different next time is ask for more sauce with the fried ravioli appetizer.
Service was subpar. Our waitress only had 4 tables. Tables that arrived after us with the same amount of people were already getting food before us. My beer had a bug in it no one addressed it until my boyfriend finally took it to the bar himself. Our waitress kept bringing us the wrong drinks or not bringing items we asked for. We had to wait 20 minutes for refills on our drinks. The food was okay but almost cold by the time it arrived at our table. She checked on the other tables more than she check on us. Not worth the money spent here. The place was very slow too. There was maybe 10 tables taken the whole time we were there mad no one at the bar.
Ok first time having them and im extremely disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with JUST pepperoni and i got the pizza with almost no pepperonia and close to no cheese, they also decided I wanted onions AND hamburger on it as well when I never asked for any of that extra stuff. Like how do you order a regular pepperoni pizza and get the complete opposite of that? I figured for almost 30 bucks I should try it so I did just that and even after picking all the stuff off it still turned out to be one of the worst tasting pizzas I think I've ever had to date. I've had store brand pizza that had better quality. If the fact that they basically created they're own version of what they thought I wanted wasn't enough it wasn't even remotely good. Would not recommend them after this. They left a bad taste in my mouth both physically and metaphorically.
Went here for lunch and it reminded me why I never come here. I ordered chicken wrap and pizza it was the worst I ever had. Never go back.
Chicken sandwich on ciabatta roll was very good. Clam chowder served at room temperature. Server notified and reheated. Chowder overly thick with absolutely no flavor, chose not to finish.
"Not Your Average Joe's"... Yeah, I'd say that's accurate in the sense where they were far below the average. Aside from the rest of the mediocre food, we had mid-rare burger which was given to us essentially raw. Upon sending it back, it was returned cooked (thankfully) but explained by the manager that their mid-rare runs on the rarer side (out of the meat grinder and kissed by the grill in this case). To top it all off, we were given the wrong bill after our dinner concludes. I know the pandemic is tough on a lot of businesses, but at least doing an "okay" job should be the benchmark. Wouldn't recommend coming here.
Great gluten free menu. They offer gluten free rolls and and lots of appetizers and main courses. The not your average Joe’s Peabody location is moderately and clean!Lot’s of parking available and you can enter trough the Mall.My children love the bread and oil.
