I’m writing this review to express my appreciation for one of the employees at the In The Game location in Peabody, Mass. This past week I brought my son Jackson, age 10, to In The Game for an afternoon of fun and games and something to eat. When we went over to the rock wall, we encountered an employee named “Danny”. My son was nervous and apprehensive about climbing the rock wall and somehow Danny recognized this. He was immediately reassuring, he engaged my son and helped him build his confidence. He helped him with his harness and explained how safe he would be, and that he’d be right there to help him. My son had a blast and his smile was ear to ear. I attribute his positive experience to Danny’s genuine care and concern. His ability to reassure my son was nothing short of inspiring. In todays day and age, you don’t encounter people like Danny who go out of their way to make someone’s experience memorable. Danny did this without hesitation as if it was second nature. I don’t think he even realized just how special he made my night, and more importantly my son’s night. My son is already talking about wanting to go back.I just want people to know how much I appreciated Danny’s caring and compassionate actions. I am thankful.
today we celebrated my son birthday at this place. I have to say this place is amazing. the staff was so nice and kept everything very organized and on schedule. we are definitely coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had a private kids party here. Booking was a breeze. Only complaint is that online it said it was booked...when i called i was able to book the party. They organized everything well making it easy for party planner. All we did after that was bring gifts and cake. The kids had a blast! Host was lovely and helpful
Great place to bring the kids. Also a great place for Adults. Pricing is some what fair I'm not complaining. 90% of the staff was great...Definitely 2 thumbs up ? ?
Me and my family where visiting around the area for a graduation and we wanted to find something fun to do in the game in Peabody has a pretty large arcade area with laser tag rope course virtual reality and rock climbing at first glance it’s kinda expensive u can get packages but they don’t give you many arcade credits and you have to add on more credits and each game takes 8 -10 each swipe we had a great time until my dad was accused of saying something off hand to a worker and she went home crying the General Manager came over and explained and ask what happened when my dad explain the general manager went on to say she was doing her job when she was not she was sneaking her phone and was on the phone when my dad made contact with her and never said anything off hand to her my mom was right there the girl made eye contact with her and smiled and when she had greeted us earlier at the counter for virtual reality she was so polite we where going to go to the front desk to compliment her the manager was defending her even tho he watched the cameras knowing the kind of man my dad is he would never ever say anything to anyone to make them cry so I don’t know if she wanted the night off from work but honest it left a sour taste In my mouth and for that reason I will never give them business again .. I understand he was doing his job but just the way it was handled was not right
Love coming here wether it's by myself on a Wednesday for half price games and some quiet time without my kids, or with the whole family having dinner then playing games and going to the "store" and bringing home prizes. This particular visit my 4 1/2 year old twins did the ropes course for the first time with my friend and I, and they loved it! Of course the top row was way too scary for all of us lol. But my friends 16 year old son did the whole course. Having my son's 7th birthday party here in May and I can't wait for the festivities!!! Oh and I love their themed parties like the pirates and mermaids, Halloween pumpkin decorating, or Christmas parties. So much to do!
It was my first time at this place. I brought my almost 13 year old grandsonWe met up with family. We all had a good time.We did not eat there. We just played and had drinks.Michelle was our server. She is the nicest person. We will be going back
My favorite place for family fun. I come here often and am never disappointed. The food is always good. Service can be slow but it’s efficient and I don’t like being rushed. All the workers are friendly and helpful. I’m writing this review because the man working the ticket booth last night always goes above and beyond when he’s there. Always making sure to answer all our questions and count our tickets and update our cards. I ask him millions of questions and help with random things and he is always fixing it with a smile. Never loses his patience. He was helping many other guests too . I’ve seen him many times but last night he ran around for hours just taking care of business and he deserves recognition.
I had my daughter 5th birthday here. The woman who was working our party was awesome! She was super patient with the kids. She was able to answer our questions and was super efficient. The girls were able to play laser tag along with myself and two dads. There was another party with some older boys that played with us. There were a few frightened girls, but again, the staff was awesome about it, and they had a blast playing. Even the girls that were scared ended up loving it. I would highly recommend this place for parties, or just a fun place to go on a rainy day?
Games are overpriced. Be prepared to spend at least $100 per kid for less than one hour of game play. We waited over 20 mins to get someone to sit us down at the restaurant and ended up leaving after 4 different employees passed by our table without ever acknowledging our family. Won’t be taking our kids there again. Rather spend my money elsewhere.
