Delicious chicken parm with a great sauce. Easy take out but the intimate restaurant has a nice ambiance. This will be my new go-to Italian place and work my way around the menu.
My family has been going to Gallo Nero for a long time. Last night we had the best lobster ravioli and gluten free pizza ,suggested bythe new owner Davi who told us they have a chef from Italy and made sure everything was great. The staff was quick, friendly, and made great recommendations. My family will definitely be going back.
Don't go here after 8:15 they turn you away for inside dining..even though they close at 9... they did offer carry out only.. Went to Petrillo's around the corner and they seated us with courtesy 10 minutes before closing no problems...
Did i mention the food and the portions? A hidden gem. Albanian owed Italian inspired never disappointed!

My favorite spot-even though I’ve never dined it. But trust me-even walking in to pick up your take out order, you realize you’ve found a true gem. There’s so much love and hard work poured into this place. That and exceptional food. As a New Yorker, I grew up with ricotta cheese in my calzone. Finally-a place that knows how to cook authentically. Everything about this place is exceptional. Especially, the owners and staff.
Wow I am very impressed with is place and the quality of the food. This is an absolute favorite. So far I've only had 2 dishes and they were spectacular. I can't wait to try more! Very good.
Super yummy, they are very chill and the restaurant has a cosy vibe their bread rolls are super good and the pasta even better, I had the cream pesto and it was so good the pasta had a lot of sauce just how I like it. The portions are huge so I'll have food for tomorrow, totally worth it!
