Had a great experience here. Food was tasty, the ice cream sundae was insanely good, and the restaurant was very clean. The best part was Sophia! She was so kind and helpful. I am from out of state and she was able to point me in the right direction on multiple things. She was working very hard that night. Thank you Sophia for making my family and I's night.
The cheeseburger had no cheese. The large sundae was very small, hardly any ice cream. It was missing the nuts too ! I do know they were very busy so that might be the reason why. I have always loved this place. I will give them another shot. You should do the same.
I guess it’s in the name, but everybody who works here is super friendly. The girls at the ice cream counter are quick and efficient, you can tell they have a good team here. Good job guys.
I love Friendly's but this place is pretty hectic. The wait staff are really busy and getting seated can take awhile. The demand is there. We need more Friendly's locations so we don't crowd this one.
It's been a while since we visited since so many of these restaurants have closed. My western Mass husband grew up with Friendly's, so it's always a trip into our past. He had a burger and I had the fishamajig, our usual. They were good, as usual. The restaurant was deserted when we arrived, so we weren't sure it was open. A few other people came in after us, so it didn't feel so weird. Thre service was a little slow, also normal.
The service was horrible no one spoke when we went in the restaurant. When we spoke they said sit anywhere, after sitting this dusty looking blonde girl with stink breath and attitude said next time we come, wait to be seated. Huh!? Didn’t You just say sit anywhere??? Then she said, what ever and walked off. Know wonder the store was empty. Just all around trashy people with no good work ethics, manners or hygiene. Don’t waste your time…
Went to friendly’s for my daughters birthday, we were a party of seven. We were told to sit at two different tables while plenty of single tables that could have accommodated us were open. Let me be clear it was not two tables pushed together but two separate booths separated by the isle. Feeling a little strange with our four small children we asked to move to a single table about 10’ away. The hostess said that the party of 19 was sitting at different tables and when that didn’t persuade us she said that area was to far away and didn’t want the waitress to forget about us. It’s friendly’s they are one step bigger than a diner! Not a very exciting story and certainly not a terrible experience but in the moment it definitely felt like a lazy teenage girl running the show.
The ice cream choices were GREAT! It reminds me of when I was young and went to Friendly's for Ice Cream...Rt 114 Peabody, MA location reminded me of those types of memories and atmosphere.
The service and the meals were mediocre to below average, I'm afraid. However, the brownie sundae was delicious. I would recommend choosing another place for your meal and then stop by Friendlys for ice cream.
Great service even though I could see they were busy, professional and courteous. The food was great just like I remembered and their Ice cream is top notch.
