To say I'm pleasantly surprised is an understatement. My regular place was closed so I gave this place a shot and it is hands down the best grape leaves I have ever had. The falafel is ginormous and delicious The serving of fries was huge The bread is warm and fluffy. This blows my old place out of the water. I'll be a regular from now on.
Great food, large portions and friendly staff! We had the lamb gyro. It was delicious! We took home the one of many baklava. Nice place for lunch.4 stars because of paper plates and plastic ware.
By far the best, most authentic Turkish food I've eaten in New England 5/5. My favorite personal dish, the Doner Kebab, has a perfect blend of high quality meat and seasonings. The fresh bread accompanying meals is awesome - a great addition that makes it feel like a homemade meal. Everything there is great - other meat dishes, salads, etc. My mother, who is Turkish, loved it and said it reminded her of her grandmother's cooking when she was young. Also, to be clear, if you dine there as opposed to takeout, this is a self-serve style restaurant, as per multiple visible signs posted everywhere. I noticed some caustic reviews seemingly confused about this: the workers are there making great food, which is the whole point of a restaurant like this.
A pure act of discrimination!!!I have to say that we were extremely disappointed today at our favorite restaurant. We have been there for years and I have never encountered such a disappointed customer service and bad treatment from the managers and staff. We can with a big group to an almost empty restaurant and we ordered and we had kids which we always do and kids were always welcome in this restaurant. Until an old guy walked in to the restaurant and wasn’t really eating restaurant food. He had watermelon and ice and an alcoholic drink I front of him in a place that don’t serve alcohol and started yelling at the kids to shut up and be quite. The restaurant staff, the manager and the owner instead of talking to that guy not to speak to the kids in such a harsh way and just address the parents politely, they took his side and addressed us to control the kids and keep them quite !!! What is that!! Kids are kids and they were seated in their place and eating their food. Considering that this restaurant is not an upscale, quite atmosphere. It is clearly an energetic place. What we experience today was a pure act of discrimination against our group and I was very close to call the cops. We are extremely disappointed
Good place of Turkish experience. Food for the most part delicious, staff is friendly, but service a bit slow.
I haven't been to this restaurant Gyro & Kebab House Norwood,MA in a year since 2021 I wanted to have something special to watch the basketball game tonight I ordered a large lamb kebab and a large chicken kebab it comes with a so called salad and homemade pita bread It was the worst food I ever had I don't know what happened in a year but the meat was tough and dry the salad taste like it had ghost peppers in it that's all I tasted after eating it I chocked for about an hour the only thing that was ok was the bread I could have gone on YouTube and made it better myself please don't go there I paid $40.00 dollars for a bunch of slop my mouth is still burning from the so called salad Horrific experience I will never go there again.
Excellent food. Fast services. If you like Turkish food then this is the spot for you! Get ready to enjoy the special flavors with an interesting combinations of different ingredients.Hard to find a place that uses fresh ingredients and delivers on the fine Turkish dining experience. We enjoyed every dish & dessert we ordered and warmly recommended. I felt the $$ to food ratio is a bit high but guess it’s inflation everywhere these days!
I have prejudice that I cannot find decent food of my country abroad. This place shows that it is possible with good food and generous hospitality. Wishing to be back soon.
A few nights ago I ordered a chicken gyro to go. While the flavor was okay, the meat was loaded with fat, making for a very unpleasant experience. The gyro was also excessively greasy and smelled rancid. I pride myself on being a foodie and have the utmost respect for establishments that turn out consistently high quality products. Unfortunately, it appears as if these folks simply don't care about food quality and execution. Too bad because I live just down the road.
Nice middle eastern place. Had tried chicken platter n was nice along with shawarma. Their baklavas served were fresh, n amazing
