Food and atmosphere were terrific. Our server though.... VERY judgemental. By our clothes she assumed we were poor or something. She was very attentive to other tables but ignored us quite a bit. We had to ask another server for drink refills. And she was pretty rude. I used to be a server so I pay attention to detail when we dine out. We still tipped , but she was lucky to get 10%
The 99 is your typical 99! Food was good, the mudslide martini was amazing and great atmosphere. You can't go wrong!
It was fairly cheap to go here. The service was OK. I was able to meet my dietary restrictions fairly easily which was a surprise.
Came in for lunch and really enjoyed it. So we came back for dinner. Food was really good and had great service.
The person that was with me was older and kind of challenging in the way of asking for things. Our waitress Brie (very young) didn't really know how to accommodate her personality. She seemed to get irritated and angry.I do get it though. However, there's always a way to make the customer happy
Whenever We return to visit the Boston area we make a point to visit the local 99 restaurant. This one did not disappoint. Good food great service.
the 99 always has great food, the beer is cold and the have friendly waitt saff. only bad experience was during flu season when they were doing all of delivery, and our food was cold when delivered. but that in itself is understandable.
Always a good time with pretty decent service. I make a point to go here whenever I'm in town. Boneless wings with their blue cheese is my favorite. Wanna go lite? The wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, crumbles, bacon and tomatoes... You can't go wrong. I enjoy each meal with a bud select. Always on draft, always on sale.
Love this place, also a solid place to stop in for a quick brew and some wings and skin samplers or as me and my buddies call them (scamplers). ps. Joey, is the highest caliber waiter in the game.
Like most restaurants, it was clear to see they were understaffed. Many tables were not cleared. Our waitress Sarah was excellent. Despite her being the only waitress that we saw ~ she was attentive, welcoming and happy. Food was good.
