My folks love the fried fish (and they are picky), and I'm a huge fan of the broiled trout or salmon. Always friendly service.

Small hole in the wall takeout place in Newton right across from Antoine's Bakery. Appears to be a family business with three or four regular workers apart from the owner, mostly family. There was a guy mopping but he stopped to hand me a menu and get see if I had questions. Everyone was nice and the fried fish was delicious. Haven't tried fresh food from the front case but it looked very good! The owner also said he can try his best to find any specialty fishes if you call 2-3 days in advance, which is a great service.
Maybe it’s because I’m a tourist but 2 treenie bites of lobster in medium bisque. I ordered fresh lobster add on at $70 a pound. I got the left over mealy claws and xtra $14. Not one bite of tail. Maybe I was looking for the “wow” factor and I got it. Wow where’s the ? Flavor was there. Quantity $mall.
Great Fried Seafood!!!!! Went back the next day for some to go for the ride back to NY. Fresh, crispy and perfectly cooked.Spring 2022: Still excellent!!!!! A must have when in Boston for work.
Great local spot for seafood. The lunch and dinner boxes are excellent. I especially like the whole clams and oysters. Dom is a very friendly lad and I have been here couple of times and am never disappointed.

Love steamers the lobster roll is awesome so is the lake frie plate so many favorites I can't say enough about the food .The family that owns it are always pleasant.
We picked up lobster rolls and clam chowder for lunch today. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!
