We ordered 2 chicken shack sandwiches. Both sandwiches had teeny-tiny pieces of chicken that were insulting, especially fo the amount we paid. My partner ordered avocado for an additional fee and they did not include it. This experience has deterred us from patronizing this particular Shake Shack franchise for a long time.
So I'll start with the good....the fries....everything else was extremely disappointing.....So you order here, they make your shake and let it sit and melt while they cook your food which takes an unbelievable amount of time.I had to ask how much longer it would be. We finally get our melted shake and burgers and the order is completely wrong....they were missing items that their signature burger normally had and completely messed up which burger had add ons.Will not be back...manager tried to offer to remake and we didn't have the time for that after waiting 30 minutes. Got our money back...ate the fries tried the burgers and threw them out and went to our movie hungry.
It was okay. Not the best shake shack experience we've had. One of the burgers had shake sauce wiped off of it so the fun was super soggy and the burger tasted a little different than the person was expecting.
I dont usually give bad reviews but this was my first time getting take out from this location and was not in my opinion worth the trip. I got the shack burger and fries my daughter got the nuggets and fries and we weren't able to eat any of it the fries looked old and tasted the same the burger was tasteless greasy and pretty much thrown together my daughters nuggets were so heavy with grease that i couldn't let her eat them. Everything was cold and unappealing and i literally threw out everything and had to cook dinner which i was trying to avoid by letting her have a treat normally we would go to the Dedham location where they never disappoint but we figured since we were closer to chestnut hill we would give it a try unfortunately it wasnt worth it. We will not revisit this location ?
I ordered dinner via Grubhub a few hours before I set a 6pm delivery from this location for my wife, myself and toddler as we were dealing with a family emergency. Shake shack confirmed they started working on my order then cancelled my order with a note saying location cannot fill the order at this time try again later. Now I need to scramble finding another take out place to deliver at a reasonable dinner time for a toddler and deal with a family emergency. I’m not ordering here again due to the added stress and unprofessionalism by shake shack.
Very disappointing visit. Let’s start with the positives: my son’s cheeseburger, albeit small and lukewarm, was tasty and devoured quickly. The fries were hot and they did follow our request to serve them unsalted. Things fell apart on my order, however. The shroom burger, while definitely cheesy, came out cold and haphazardly slapped together. See my attached video to see how little avocado they give for $1.99. When I went back to ask for a little more, begging like Oliver Twist, they gave me a small, disgustingly gray, slice for me to add to the burger. But they don’t have utensils available at the self-service counter, so I guess they thought it would be fine for me to use my hands. That led to another trip back to the counter, where they gave me a plastic fork – exactly the wrong utensil for spreading avocado. But I had given up at that point and just chucked my food and went home and ate. The employees have no interest in good customer service. They are much more interested in talking to each other. If the manager there wants to check their security camera recording, they will see me and my son standing at the counter for quite a while while two employees chatted, managing to ignore us and not make eye contact when we arrived. Shaq was a world-class athlete, but Shack is definitely not even a third-class hamburger joint.
Very disappointing. No interaction with staff. Unless you pay cash you order via a tablet. The portions are smaller the burgers are thinner and the staff could care less about issues. All they focus on is the delivery orders. Everyone else is just an interruption in what they are doing. You can hear it in the voice of the staff when they are forced to interact with people. The give a darn factor is zero. Service is dead in America and it is corporations like Shake Shack that are killing it It is not the employees it is the corporate model that is designed to reduce operating cost to the bear minimum and secure huge bonuses for "C" level executives and the top fat cat BOD types. All they care about is the bottom line, not the customer, and not the staff. $32 for 2 Cheeseburgers, 1 fries and 2 shakes and we sat at a dirty table that had ketchup stains on it. Nice work. Enjoy your bonus, you are filth.
One of my new favorite burgers. Easily top 5! The shakes are absolutely out of this world too!! The spiced cheesy fries are an ingenious addition too! You can't go wrong with this place.
I get shake shack often in the NYC/NJ area and it's great to know I can get this exceptional of a burger with great consistency anywhere there is a shake shack. The double smoke is my go to. Kids liked hot dog, chicken bites and milkshake. Tried the new Buffalo chicken sandwich which was good but a little small. But these burgers are so much better than any other chain you could pick from.
Worst service continue to ignore us, told us that our order was coming then continued tell us did not know where the order was. Took A very long to get a fry, a cheese fry, two drinks and a shake shack burger. Extremely disrespectful cannot find the order after I had already got a text that the order was ready when it was not ready. We’ll never be spending money here ever again or coming here again absolutely disgusted. Continuing on the space was overcrowded not social distance at all. Workers had mask under nose,NOT SAFE.
