Absolute GEM. I’ve been in a few times and it’s always fantastic. Not enough can be said about how incredible the food is - probably the best chicken parm dish I’ve ever had and the pizza is out of this world good. Top notch. Cocktails are really great as well and it’s a nice spot to just hang out and have a few drinks, but I guarantee you’ll be ordering a pie soon enough.
Tasty, diverse Italian menu. The homemade ricotta was exceptional!!! The cocktails were a generous pour and refreshing. Wine list had a great variety to choose from.Our table of 4 did 4 appetizers to share, My Dad had the squid ink mussels and we ordered 2 pizzas that were to die for! Cappuccino, Cafe Americano and espresso over vanilla bean ice cream were perfection. The waitstaff is personable and can offer recommendations if you are torn between two dishes.
I went for the classic Italian menu looking for a taste of home but I stayed for the wonderful imported wine. My server recommended me a fabulous glass of Tuscan white that I adored so much I took a photo of the bottle to order. Great atmosphere for a single diner. Comfortable chairs, nice bar area, awesome looking pizza oven, and extensive authentic Italian menu. Whenever I'm in town I'll be sure to hit this place up. Warm and welcoming vibe. Kind staff too.
Great restaurant, great experience, and terrific food. Without a doubt the best pizza you will find in the Boston area. The dough is so good and so unusual for what people are used to eating. But there is much more than pizza at DLP. The meat balls were exceptional, the razor clams were delicious, and the duck was spot on perfect. Chef Mario has created a menu that has much to like. If you are around Newton or the Boston area, this is a great dinner and lunch spot to check out.
This pizza is insanely good! these are only the best ingredients and it shows. I havent found better Neapolitan pizza anywhere in New England including NY city. Finally we have some decent real Italian pizza in the area.
A bit disappointing. Babbo in Seaport was one of my favorite spot for pizza and Italian food. The heritage is not there. Perhaps, I should give it another try, but there were too many things just plain average. The waiter was not warm and welcoming. The pizza were decent, but not great. The artichokes were…mini.

First time trying out this new spot and we got take out. The eggplant parm tasted delicious but don't think that's worth $14 and same with the roasted squash. I do believe these 2 dishes would've tasted/looked better if dined in vs take out.We also got a Margherita pizza (didn't get a chance to take a pic of it before it was devoured). The pizza is definitely something I'll get as take out again. You can taste the char from the brick oven and the toppings were not sliding off when you picked up a slice. Will be back to try dining in next time to try out their other dishes
