What can I say that anyone else has said or felt about buffs pub !!, it is truly the most amazing pub to go enjoy great food and cold drinks, all of the staff is the most friendliest people you will meet !!! I’ve gone there,I still go there, and as long as this place is open I will keep going !!!!!! I guarantee you will love it !!!
Buffs pub is really good. Is it amazing or the best in the country? Probably not, but it’s the best bone in wing place I’ve found near me that scratches that itch for wings. Have gotten most of all the sauces, with the honey hot being my favorite and the Nashville hot one they had my least favorite. Great service every time we’ve been, but can be a wait (small location) that isn’t worth it.
Just checked in at a nearby hotel and wanted to grab some lunch had a very nice buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and a few beers. Very tasty and at a reasonable price.
Unfortunately Buffs is not what it used to be. The wings were above average but pricey. We had burgers which were absolutely terrible..cols, overcooked shoe leather and missing many toppings). Upon mentioning it to the overchallanged waiter he was silentand mumbled "skip the tip". It's a shame because Buffs was such a value& a hidden gem .. now it's more of a tourist trap type of place.
Was speaking to a Bostonian on the Common who recommended the ‘Wings’ at Buffs Bar which is adjacent to where we are staying Had the ‘chicken and chips’ with a decent pint of Guinness really well poured by Aline Both the food and drink were good and were reasonable value for money
Small pub, but it's been a cornerstone of that newton corner neighborhood for years. They are known for their buff pub wings and they do not disappoint.
It has been 6 years since I've returned to Buffs pub, and my friend and I STILL rave about our experience. We're just two Canadians that stumbled in to a restaurant across the road from our hotel. I literally am writing this review only because I wanted to Google, and make sure from a very locked down Toronto, that Buff's Pub survived the pandemic. We really look forward to our return!Top tier pub grub without question! One of the only pubs where the drinks are the bonus!
It’s a small sports bar in the heart of Newton Corner known for their wings. We came in for lunch around 11:30 and there were plenty of seats but when we left closer to 12:15 it was starting to get quite busy. I would imagine that for dinner or on a weekend it must get really busy. The wings were really good though! Perfect amount of crisp while maintaining moisture combined with a sauce that left me wanting another order! They don’t let you split sauces so make sure you pick a good one, the Maple Hot was like a hot Buffalo with just a hint of maple and it was amazing! My only critique would be the fries need to be salted more, they were fairly bland but I just dipped them in blue cheese and it worked out.Price wise it was average for the area just bordering on a little high but the quality of the food makes up for it. A 10-piece wing and French fry plate was $16.99 and a Guinness was $7 for reference.Overall, I’ll be back next time I’m craving wings and would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes spicy wings or beer.
Ordered Buffalo wings and they forgot the celery and blue cheese… It annoyed me because the reason why I order from them and not another place was because their celery and sauce is good. So we sat there and ate the plain wings. I did call and mention it to the guy who picked up the phone but he seemed annoyed that I would call about that. I mean, it’s like getting a salad without salad dressing and toppings. Besides this incident, last time I got some Buffalo fingers with fries and they were horrible, soggy and the amount of fries was a joke like less than 10 fries in total. Honestly for the price I expect much better service and food from this place.
$18 (eighteen USD) for 10 disgustingly dry totally flavorless stale wings, soggy tiny portion of fries, and they forgot the onion rings.I’ve never been stolen from by a restaurant so flagrantly ever. No wonder the place was empty at 930 on a Saturday night. You guys are living on your name alone and it shows. Writings on the wall
