There are many Portuguese restaurants in the area, but the roasted pig is definitely my favorite to get Carne Altejana. The meat is so tender here.
Our favorite place for date night! From the moment you walk in, to when you leave, you are treated as if you are part of the family. The owners truly care about there customers and it shows in their restaurant, waitstaff and food! Highly recommended The Roasted Pig!
This was a good restaurant and my experience was different than the person I went with. They had a great meal and would definitely go back. I however was not a fan of the meal I had. I don't remember the Portuguese name for it but basically it was steak and potatoes with spicy peppers. The steak was overcooked and had no taste to it, it didn't even taste salted or peppered. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the peppers as well. However the overall flavor of the dish was missing and I did not feel transformed into in Portuguese world. The waitress was very nice and the ambiance was not bad at all but the food I just did not like. I will try again for a different meal and see how that goes.
Not impressed waited for food, sat at bar to have a drink was not even served. Not worth my time

Pork Aletajana - Pork was fork tender, the little necks were fresh and the banana peppers were appropriately pungent. Sopped up every bit of sauce with lovely rolls!!! Terrific service. excellent prices. Took home Cacoila and Carne Espito dinners. AMAZING! The favas appetizer was beautifully done with sausage and plank bacon - oh my!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Service was ok but the food was horrible. Ordered two steaks medium and both came to the table rare and they were impossible to cut - extra tough. Our server was busy and by the time she came to check in we had already eaten our sides and just wanted to leave. Even though both steaks were in edible we still had to pay for them -so I spent 50$ for some rice, fries and broccoli. Won’t be going back.
