The service and the food were absolutely fantastic. I had made reservations for 2:00 and my in-laws were literally an hour and a half late. My waitress was amazingly patient totally worked with me and they let me bring a cake and they sing Happy Birthday to my mother-in-law. Cannot say enough great things about the staff and the food.
I Ear at Cafe Mimo a couple times a week & I tried the Beef Stew Today & I would highly recommend the Beef Stew Special & I also have had the Caciola & Highly Recommend that dish the Food is Excellent & the Staff is Great too I highly recommend Cafe Mimo
Good food but slow. They were not busy at all but took almost 2 hours for lunch with 8 people. Meal took a long time and took very long time to get bill.
Best Chef in the whole city! Can’t get better experience or food anywhere else. Café Mimo is the best !

Today, at 12:02PM I placed an order. They told me 35minutes. Mind you I’m on my lunch break, I left went to the bank. Took my time. I arrived at the property for 1PM. My food still wasn’t ready. Which sucks because the food here is actually really good. But the service & how long you have to wait, is unreal. Mind you, they’re not busy. I wouldn’t recommend you to eat at Cafe Mimo due to poor service.
Mimo’s is located in the North End of New Bedford, MA. They offer Portuguese Food that is always tasty. The service is slow and if you are in a hurry this isn’t the place for you. The Cod Fish is a great choice of mine. I stop here at lease once a month and enjoy the food.
So slow! One time I went I waited 2 hours for my food and the waitress forgot about me and my family and I also went today and we waited 45 minutes! But the food is good
Ordered party platters for a Birthday party this evening. Absolutely amazing. Delicious dishes, we will order again. Mozambique sauce is delicious!
