Came in sea food plater was good nice an hot the stuffie was awsome the fires cold and my lobster roll was awful very very small for the price i was so disapointed that my meal was cold waitress was very nice

My wife and I live in Franklin, and the only place we could find a tee time this morning was at the Lakeville Country Club. After a windy and chilly round my wife said she wanted steamers. So I googled seafood restaurants near me. We chose Mikey B’s solely on the pics on Google, didn’t even read the shocking 3.6 star rating and reviews. We ponied up at the bar, ordered 2 stuffies, a linguica pizza “we were in New Beige”, steamers and this lobster, scallop and shrimp thing SMOTHERED in cheese…O. M. G. !!! The food was unbelievable!! Best we’ve had in a very long time and we are quite the seafood snobs, all over Maine, the Cape and Nantucket. Christine our bartender was all over our every need and anticipated whatever we needed next. I don’t get the one star reviews on here, I wish I could give 10 stars. As we left and put HOME in the GPS and discovered it was 41 mins away we looked at each other and said…YUP, we’re definitely coming back and bringing friends and family. Thank you Mikey B’s for helping us find an AMAZING seafood restaurant without having to go down Cape. You guys have yourself quite a hidden gem.Thanks again!!
We were seated quickly, they had two large parties they were taking care of with only 1 waitress. She took our order and it took a little bit to get our food, bit it was worth it, i got the seafood platter which was delicious and could feed more than 2 people. Wife got steamers that were also delicious and came with a flavored butter. We will return definately.
Went to MikeyB's a couple of weeks ago and the service was not good at all!! Fish was good, that was about the only thing. The baked potato came with a beard hair on the plate. The steak I ordered was well done instead of medium!! We walked out !! So we tried again tonight... BIG MISTAKE !! I ordered the Portuguese steak dinner, COOKED MEDIUM.. I got steak tips we'll done. The eggs were like rubber and the gravy made everything salty. Don't waste your money!!
We went to this restaurant and saw Fish & Chips with Clam Chowder Special on the Menu, so we both ordered it, plus 2 Sodas. We ate, and the food was very good. Then we were billed $52.00 $9.00 Just for 2 cups of Chowder! Ridiculous! We will never return.
I went here for a late lunch yesterday with my friend, Maria. She was served fish and chips. She received 2 giant pieces of fish and said it was delicious. I got my usual combination of fried scallops and clams. I like to compare the food at different restaurants. This was the tastiest dinner of any restaurant that I have been to. I highly recommend it.
1st time here and my bf ordered the seafood platter 26.99 for 2 which they charge 2.00 for more so now 28.99 it was over salted and the batter was full of grease! There was more better than seafood. Highly disappointed.
This place is bright, colorful, cheery, and clean inside. The seating and atmosphere is not upscale, but nice and casual. The seafood we had was very good and the service was top notch. The scallops and bacon appetizer is outstanding made with fresh local sea scallops wrapped in thick smoky bacon; and the portion size is quite generous for the price. The haddock and cod dishes we had were fresh and tasty, with really nice choices of sides. In our case we went with the vegetable medley, which sounds like a bland and boring choice, but not here; the portion size was perfect and the veggies were buttery and doctored up perfectly. Cocktails are also reasonably priced. The service during our visit was top notch from the time we were greeted upon entering, all the way throughout the entire table service. Will definitely return soon!
I absolutely cannot stand the service at this restaurant. I feel like every time I order from here there is a problem. My wife ordered dinner online. When I went to pick it up I was told the order was all set. When I got home I was missing two of my four dishes. I called them and told them and the person on the phone was completely clueless. They told me to come back and they would have my food ready for me when I arrived. I was greeted by a waitress who told me it would still be another ten minutes. She offered me a drink on the house while I waited. I declined and decided to just wait for my food while the other half of my order was sitting at home getting cold. Ten minutes had gone by and still no food. Meanwhile, I’m watching plates flying out of the kitchen for tables and other pick up orders. Almost 20 minutes later all I get is a sorry.
