Great Portuguese restaurant. Good food, good service and nice ambiance. Always enjoy eating there. Highly recommended.
We've been here a few times. The food is consistently good, the food and drink prices are VERY reasonable and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Plenty of available parking. This is among a small handful of restaurants that I go to again and again in New Bedford.

Probably one of the best dinners I have ever had. The owner and staff could not be more hospitable. The food and drinks were top notch. We were not rushed out. Just a great night!!! Can't wait to go back...

My scallops were undercooked and they were the bay , if told before hand i would not have ordered. Service however was very good.

We tried this restaurant with high hopes. The decor is lovely, lots of charm. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The bartender could make a great vodka sour, but that was about it for positives. The food portions were not generous given the cost, the food lacked the traditional Portuguese flavors we love, or much of any flavor for that matter. It wasn't just one dish in our group, it was most of our group wasn't happy.The most disappointing part was almost a disconnect between what the menu says, the waitress explains and what actually gets delivered to the table. For example a Cajun sauce is just some very lightly sauteed peppers and onions over fish. No moisture added as one would expect in any sauce anywhere else nor any spices.In summary, small overpriced portions, served dry and lacking flavor. Consider any of the other dining options a stone's throw from here...
We had a very good lunch here . I had the pork and little necks my husband had the steak with fries ,rice and veggies. Service was very good . Look forward to eating here again.
Dinner with two friend at the Inner Bay restaurant last night will be my last time. Waitress sold us on referencing garoupa fish as Chilean sea bass. We used google translate ”Garoupa” is grouper not Chilean sea bass. To add insult, they charged us Chilean sea bass prices not bottom feeding grouper prices. Both my friend and I requested the grill “Chilean Sea Bass.” We received a half boiled fish braised on the grill tasting more in the boiled fish. Presentation gets a zero star, taste gets a zero star, wait staff get a one star. She essentially wanted too select our meal. I mind paying market prices for sub par meals.
