Been coming here since the day they opened there doors… I live in Dorchester now, so when I visit that’s the first stop after getting off the highway!!!!

I love this place, I've been a fan since they opened when I was in highschool. This is the only restaurant that's been able to survive in that plaza. There has been so many different restaurants there in the past, but Celia's is still there after all this time for a reason.

Celia’s is a New Bedford favorite for Dominican food. They offer a wide variety of sides with the main meals. From Chicken, Pork, Steak, and Fish to choose from when ordering. The staff are always happy and Friendly. This is a place I would highly recommend for great service and great food.

We were so hungry I forgot to take pics ? visiting someone in the area so this was my first time here. It was beautiful and so clean! The staff was friendly and bilingual. The food was great. Lots of options. We had white rice, beans and shredded pork; rice with red beans and beef; a chicken empanada/ pastelito. We also had chicharrón on the side. This is where it lost one star for me. I have to say it was mostly fat and barely any actual meat. I’m aware chicharrón is fatty. We love it when we go to Hispanic restaurants but it’s sold by the pound so it’s not cool for it to be mostly fat and the skin was not crispy.
Best $6 I ever spent! Food is cooked to perfection. The place is clean and remodeled. Staff is good and quick with your order.
