I don’t know if it’s a new ownership or any other situation but the food quality is just not the same of over a decade ago when I first tried the place at the Natick mall.On today’s visit(order no. 15 at 2:13pm) the flat grill was very dirty and raw chicken was cooked right on top of burned residues, the veggies were also burned, the chicken was dry and overcooked, the teriyaki sauce was watery and the overall taste was not great at all. If I wasn’t late to go back to work I would have asked for my money back.That used to get a good place if you’re looking for value but the lost of quality is becoming more and more evident over the years.To bad, competition says thank you!!!
Really good basic Japanese fare for a mall food court setting - the teriyaki chicken is just as good as it's hyped up to be. Plus, the staff was not only friendly but extremely efficient - I got food for 3 people within 2 minutes. I think this is probably the best food at this food court.
The food is always burnt and you get very little chicken for what you pay for. Will not be going there ever again

I totally agree with some of the previous reviews. I was really embarrassed at the extremely rude employees. The store was very noisy, so I couldn't hear them well, but the employees were literally projecting all the anger to the customers, with all their gestures and attitudes. I don't want to visit there any more. And the foods were not worth as well.
Food tasted aweful, the cooks were rude when asked what order they put up, lady at the register was rude when asked about yum yum sauce and soy sauce. Ended up throwing half the food away because it tasted so bad.
Every good review here is fake and from employees fake accounts. Worst Japanese food I’ve ever had, they fill your plate with old cabbage and dusty rice. Don’t go here. I asked them why my vegetable medley was a pound of cabbage and one slice of carrot and one broccoli and they showed me their conveyor belt of cabbage. Not the cooks fault I’m sure but this food is hot garbage. Good if you want to feed livestock maybe but not humans.
Food is decent but employees are always unfriendly and sometimes rude, particularly the guys cooking the chicken. Not worth the trouble.
