Authentic place and great food! Sandwiches, cannoli, pasta?
I thought after I was diagnosed with celiac I would never have a big sub sandwich ever again. Now I make it a point to go every weekend and get a gluten free Italian sub. It is my absolute favorite! They also have pre-made food ready to go in the coolers! An absolute treasure of a place!
This place is my go to for lunch !! I’m so glad I work next door. Every sandwich is delicious and fresh, their soup is bomb, and there is so many options! I’d recommend any time.
Great food and very nice people. The owner was helping with customers and was very accommodating. This is a nice local business worth supporting. Order online for a quick lunch pick up.
This is the second time we've dined at Buttercup and it was fantastic. The food delicious and promptly prepared, and our server gave my wife an excellent wine recommendation. We will be returning!
I don't even know where to start I am so angry. Two weeks ago I used a Gift card given to me for Christmas. It sat in my car for months. Two weeks ago on a Sunday I decided to use it and stopped by an ordered an Italian sub, on getting home and opening it up I saw that there was only one slice of cheese and one slice of meat, with lots of vegies on top. I waited two weeks before I had the time to stop by and say something. Perhaps I expected to be treated with good customer service and they would say sorry, how can we make this right. Instead I was subjected to a diatribe by the purported owner that I was lying and just wanted a free sandwich ( I still have $20.00 on my gift card). He even threatened that if I wanted I could have the person making sandwiches that day fired. Who knows who made the original sandwich, I certainly don't and I don't care. He said that if I wasn't willing to have him fired that was proof that I was lying. He escalated this in an attempt to make me lose my temper. I'm 70 years old. I don't want anyone fired except for perhaps this so called owner.
I've held off on reviewing Lola's for years because I am a die-hard Corrado's stan. The Angry Turkey made me review it, though. What a sandwich. It's the most unique turkey sandwich I've had in New England. Highly recommend if only for this one sandwich.I'm sure more stuff they have is good, but again, Corrado's stan.
We love Lola's for take out Italian and sandwiches. And they have great frozen premade pasta in bulk that are easy and tasty to make for weekday dinner or a party.
First time at Lola’s today for lunch with a friend (who lives in Natick) but it defo won’t be my last. EXCELLENT eggplant sandwich, and as brand new customers, we were each treated to a free cannoli. One plain, one with chocolate chips. I love cannolis, but many places over sweeten the filling and fill the shells in advance, resulting in soggy shells. Not here - these were as good as any you’ll find in Boston’s North End. Even the tiny chocolate chips were a high quality chocolate. Quick, easy service, large servings at affordable prices, and what appears to be an interesting menu. It’s also a market, so yeah, next visit I’ll be grabbing something from the “to go” meals. Looking forward to trying more of your menu, Lola’s!
I went to Lola‘s for to go Eggplant Parmesan. The portion was quite small for $15 - it was not really worth it. The sauce was delicious, the eggplant was good, the garlic bread was disappointing. I could’ve had 1 1/2 as much food for the money.
