I will never be going back to Joy Luck ever again! I got two large bags of food worth $187.62. The woman told me the bags were heavy. I put them in my trunk for a 10 minute car ride home. My daughter lifted the bag from my trunk and the paper bag broke. Some of the food fell out in my trunk, some fell to the driveway. The paper bag broke because it was wet with condensation, not because of the weight. What did the woman say when I called her to let her know that the salt and pepper shrimp we had ordered was on our driveway? "I told you the bag was heavy." Ummm...no, the bag didn't break because the food was too heavy. The paper bag broke because it was soaked with the condensation because of the way the food was packed. The woman said they could not do anything about our $17 order after we had just spent nearly $200? I refuse to go back there because of their poor customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
These photos are of the grease that came out of my egg roll. Chicken wings tasted of soap and were of poor quality. Chicken fingers dry and soapy tasting. Threw it all in the trash. Basically a waste of money. Would not recommend.
Love it the food is great and quick service at a good price
We typically go elsewhere, but Christmas Eve our usual spot was closed and Joy Luck came through for us! We loved it and it’s become our new favorite. Veggie lo mein was amazing and my husband is obsessed with their hot and sour soup. Portions are generous, and while the prices seem slightly higher than other Chinese places around here($50 for 2 noodle dishes, soup, and an entree), we will definitely go back because the portions are large and the quality is really good. Sometimes they underestimate how long it will take so I recommend going to pick up like 10 min after they estimate it’ll be ready.
We wanted Chinese food new years Eve take out.. Called around Milford area where I live I was at work getting ready to go and all the places I go to don't answer the phone or there is a weight starting a p.m. for takeout. I drove down the street from where I was working and Saud this restaurant try to order online but the site was screwing so I went inside place an order in the food was ready in 10 minutes and it was pretty good. Good experience will definitely buy again when I'm in the area.
This place deserves 5 starts for what it is: some of the best American Chinese food around. General Tao's chicken is great (I asked for it extra extra spicy). Beef chow fun is solid. Takeout service is fast and efficient. It's not overly greasy and ingredients are good quality. I called in an order at 5:40, left my house, picked up some wine and then the food, and was back at my house by 6:00pm.
Egg foo and lo mein was excellent
Low prices, Fantastic quality and flavor. Big portions. What's not to love?
My wife and I order from here all the time. Reasonable prices and they are quick with orders. I've never had a bad experience here.
We love the food there! Chicken wings and fried noodles are so delicious! Friendly service.
