$8 for a grilled cheese with bacon. I asked for cheddar which looked like melted plastic. No flavor or sharpness. The bacon was sparse and clumped in the middle. Ate 3 bites.
Lisa is fantastic!!!! my friend and I stopped for a quick bite to eat and not only did she have gluten free/veg options, but she was so kind and personable. she’s also hiring if anyone is looking for a job! also has a cute sign hahah. 10/10 will be back :-)
I didn't expect this sandwich to be so damn good. The lady working definitely knows how to get customers to buy her food. She deserves a raise for her hard work and dedication to her craft. She definitely sold me on the chipotle chicken melt. I'll tell it was one of the best sandwiches i ever had. Hands down. They sand is huge and grilled to PERFECTION!!! I'm looking forward to going back. I wish they had a CHEESY STREET GRILL IN LOWELL, Ma. Thank you for an amazing lunch.
very mid. tots were frozen, would have liked a better bread assortment, maybe a sourdough option. very very cheesy, took a lot of cheese out. they do have deep river chips which was a plus

If you're dreaming up a grilled cheese to manifest just to your taste then they have something for you. A tsunami of cheese between two slices of bread if you want it. Or something as modest as a tuna melt the choice is yours.
The French onion grilled cheese was delicious as was the tomato soup. Pretzels and tots are also available along with a wide variety of grilled cheese sandwiches
This is the second time we've dined at Buttercup and it was fantastic. The food delicious and promptly prepared, and our server gave my wife an excellent wine recommendation. We will be returning!
Sooo delicious! A taste of home on the road (and you can even create your own!). I had sautéed onions, fig jam, and goat cheese!!!! Sooooo delicious! I will make a point to stop here again to try the short rib (which is pulled like pork) with cheddar and fig! Ahhhh so good :-)
Love this place. There food is so good you have to try it. The people are so nice and awesome!!
