Massive place, huge selection. The fact it has a café attached is pretty cool, there's definitely nothing like this around me. Stumbled across this store by accident after being disappointed by the official warhammer store.
This place is amazing!! We need more places for friends to be able to gather and play the games they love, whether RPG, board games, or anything. We feel lucky to live close enough to such a place where diversity, inclusiveness, and a sense of belonging are a priority.Despite all that, the food is fantastic!
Free Wi Fi available. Very large area. A good place to let your kids/teens look around because they have a variety of things for different age groups and a little café area. Different ways to recycle (even game package recycling) Variety of food options at reasonable price. Super Friendly staff. Clean. Feminine Hygiene products in the lady’s room. You can buy collectible items or just small cheap things for your kids for $1. A ton of tables to meet up and play with others.
Amazing store and great staff! Have been going to the TJ's crew for about a decade now (used to go to their old location) and they have never disappointed. Great LGS with a great clientele and their new location is superb!
Brought the family out for the first time and had a great time! Great selection, yummy food and great people! Can’t wait come back!
TJ cafe and games is a very different location than the TJ collectables on main street but has a lot of the same great things about it. First this feels a lot more comfortable and like an actual store rather than some store's basement. With this new location and store type. all of that basement stuff is gone. And I can safely say the store can only do better. This place is has only given me positive experiences. Even when it was on main street. The place has always been a great game shop and that hasn't changed, infact I think the stuff they offer more things now than before from the looks of things. The staff have all been really nice to me and are very helpful and friendly to others in general. Tldr: This places is way better than the TJ on main street and I recommend anyone who didn't like the basement vibe to give this new location a go I am almost certain that it's worth the time.
Fantastic gaming location! Tom has done a great job creating a unique store/cafe where all types of gamers can unite and enjoy their favorite games. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The prices are fair and I truly feel spoiled when I'm a guest. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Keep up the great work!!
Clean, spacious, well lit, good selection, and friendly staff. Can't ask for much more in an FLGS.
I visited this place a week ago and was surprised what I found. I have been to a few games stores in MA, RI, NC, and OH. Many of these places are similar but are also lacking in something more. TJ Cafe & Games hits multiple categories and it does it well.Environment: welcoming, well-lit and spacious. Too many games stores are hideaway locales that don't feel inviting to the average passerby. Additionally, the space within are typically tight quarters. TJ Cafe & Games nails the look and feel of what average shoppers want and what gamers want.Food: more than overpriced easy Mac & Cheese. I was definitely blown away by the food options available here; ice cream and chicken parm to name a few. Some games stores can offer a few sodas or candy bars. TJ Cafe & Games doesn't allow outside food or drink but honestly, that's a minor inconvenience. Food purchases help the business flourish.Community: friendly staff and events. Speaking with the proprietor and one of his staff members, I learned about board game meetups and Warhammer beginners league. Of course, there's Friday Night Magic but it's nice to know that for a small cover charge, friends can meetup and feed their gaming hunger.I'm looking forward to visiting again with buddies to play, eat, and have some good gaming memories.
This place is AWESOME! The staff is warm and welcoming and the environment is excellent. They have a HUGE selection of games and amazing food! So glad they’ve created this space!
