In a town full of Mexican restaurants, Maricos Lagunas is not the biggest in town, but certainly some of the BEST food you will have! Tacos are perfect and delicious! Try the Birra (sp?) tacos! Truly something you won't forget! The restaurant is owned and run by a husband and wife team. Marianna will certainly win you over with her excellent service and old school charm! Try this place before you decide to hit the big, chain places. You will not be sorry!
Omg, I am from Chicago(and it just so happens the owners are too!!) and this food is the bomb.com ok! I ordered fajitas(steak, shrimp and chicken)and My boyfriend ordered the whole red snapper dinner ?(he had been looking for someone out here to cook snapper forever and was very pleased),Two margaritas one peach and one lime(ssooo strong and good!) two steak tacos and one carnita taco. And we also tried their new barista steak taco which melted in my mouth. The place is colorful, and gives you a feel of Mexico ??. Marianna is the lady to see when you come In here ok, she’s going to take good care of you, because that’s what CHICAGO people do!
I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I have never had such amazing, flavorful, authentic Mexican seafood dishes as I have here! The Laguna's burrito is unlike anything you have ever tasted before! Mind blown! And the owner and employees are so nice to boot!
Great Authentic Mexican with Tex Mex available. Salsa was great, chips crunchy and all 5 meals were excellent. Owner was so energetic and caring as well. Only gripe is hot sauce wasn't spicy enough. Can't wait to go back.

I've read a few reviews about this place and have heard people speak about it. We have just never been in to try. We found ourselves in the area on a Sunday afternoon so we thought about some takeout. Now let's be honest, a smallish restaurant surrounded by other Mexican restaurants better be good to survive. We arrived and took a look at the menu. The gentleman in back suggested we sit versus possibly taking out. We obliged. He seamed to be running most of the operation himself along with another cook in back. The place is small but was turning tables fairly quick. The same gentleman took our order, filled our chip basket a couple of times as well as did some of the cooking. He never missed a beat. Service was swift and the food was some of the best I have experienced. The three of us were very impressed. Our "Server" checked in multiple times and really seamed to appreciate the business. Pricing you ask? Wow, he could certainly charge more. Lastly, in these days of COVID, cleanliness is even more important to me. The restaurant's "Serve-Safe" certificates are proudly displayed and the place is exceptionally clean. Every cleared table and chair was thoroughly wiped down after each use. We even watched as he guided new guests away from a table that was still in the process of being sanitized. Very impressive. If you are looking for great food, impressive service in a fun environment, stop in. You won't be disappointed. We will be back.
Drove by this place a lot, thought it was only take out, was pleased to see you can dine in. GREAT FOOD. The carnitas nachos were amazing! Good food at a great value by a great staff, what else can one ask for. We will be back!
My family and I come here weekly! Food is flavorful and fresh. Staff is incredible and always on point. I highly recommend coming here. I suggest trying carne Asada and their fresh Guacamole and chips, but honestly everything is delicious
The shrimp burrito dinner is superb. Very well seasoned and balanced, shrimp perfectly cooked. Great portion.
