Simple Fare really came through in the clutch for my husband and me this past Saturday. My husband had made plans long ago to have a personal chef come to our home to celebrate my 50th. Unfortunately, plans changed at the last minute, leaving him with no plan, food etc.. through a friend, my husband found Simple Fare and even though they are many miles away from us, they created a delicious menu at a reasonable price at the last minute and the chef even delivered the food himself!We had an awesome dinner and a wonderful surprise!! Highly recommend!!
We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we came to this excellent place which friends told us about. We had a beautiful evening there with exceptional food and a courteous team and a professional chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again soon. We highly recommend.
When we saw that to cook was not wearing a face mask and was coughing on the food we canceled our order.
Hi, my name is Judi "Can't Miss A Meal" McLaughlin and I am in love with the turkey breast from Simple Fare in West Medford.When I buy it, I have to order enough for a week's worth of sandwiches as well as enough for me to snack on while I drive home from Simple Fare. It is THAT delicious.I've also been known to hide my turkey stash in the recesses of my refrigerator to enjoy on a Piantedosi roll in the peace and quiet of my home office, while my teens sleep the summer away.When I'm not hoarding the turkey breast, I'm indulging in Simple Fare's other Red Hot Item: the chicken salad.True story: a friend told me how much she loves the chicken salad. so, on her recommendation, I called ahead and added it to my "order for pick up" list of deli items.Except when I placed my order, THE SAME FRIEND was at the deli getting the rest of the chicken salad in person.I had no idea I had stumbled upon Medford's Hottest Deli Item. I mean, where else on Earth do you hear about a run on chicken salad? I can't wait to try more of their deliciousness!!
Because the majority of their food, dressings, sauces, etc are made in-house and taste incredible. You pay a little more for some of their items but it is definitely worth every penny. And the portion sizes are great too. Their menu takes u from soups, wraps, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads and hot dishes. The staff are extremely helpful in tweaking an item to fit your needs. James Beard award I’m sure will be coming soon.
A close friend sent us trays of roasted pork loin stuffed with prosciutto, grilled asparagus and parmesan mushroom risotto. What a treat! We live in Dorchester, so I wasn’t familiar with this restaurant prior to receiving this delivery. The food was absolutely fabulous. It was delicious and comforting like a home cooked meal, but a way fancier and delicious version. The food was literally presented in the trays similar to a dish presentation at a restaurant. No sloppy “take-out.” The risotto was the best I’ve ever had. In a time of grief, this delivery allowed me to find a new favorite place for ordering. Thank you so much for the delicious meal for my family.
