I just left this place and wow I’m glad I took the short drive. Staff friendly and welcoming social and greeting when you walk in. The pizzas were double size for half the price as other places I’ve been. When I walked in they didn’t have a menu on the wall so I thought everything was going to priced insane but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I got a cheese and a pepperoni, they only have cheese slices and they put on toppings for only 25c per. The sauce to cheese ratio was exactly on point, the thinness of the slice yet durable enough to hold its shape when you grab it by both hands because it’s really that big of a slice. I’m just in disbelief this place doesn’t have 1k plus reviews to justify the craftsmanship,(I almost passed up on it because of it) that’s the reason for the lengthy review. Bring your appetites.
Just ordered from Pinis pizza online for the first time,I ordered by phone from the old location for like 20 yrs and it’s always been good thin crust pizza the way I like it..so I’ve been ordering the last few weeks from the new location in Medford at the old Espressos pizza and it hasn’t changed. I like this location better cuz they have seating now in case I want hot out of the oven which is always the best.. For anyone that hasn’t tried their pizza, you really should give ‘em a shot you won’t be disappointed trust me,my favorite pizza is a custom.. I like it with blue cheese sauce instead of tomato with pepperoni and red roasted peppers over the cheese well done, everyone that tastes it at my house loves it..and it’s great heated up in the toaster oven.But I wanted to add that the online ordering worked out great without issues took a few minutes to register and add my payment method so it should be a snap next week and it’s not through Grubhub or Door dash or Uber eats so there’s no extra charge no third party it’s free delivery plus a tip of coarse… so good luck to Pinis and the new place I’m sure they’ll kill it there with the tufts kids. Support local small businesses.
Hands down one of the best pizzerias in our area between Somerville/Medford/Arlington. My brother & I have been going to the old location for as long as I can remember! I ordered from the new location in Medford for the first time last night and got the Zsa Zsa pizza and I forgot how much I missed it. I’m happy they are closer now to my house and hope they are being treated well at their new location!
So my son has basketball practice once a week in Newton. So I’m always hungry while he’s practicing and randomly found “Pini’s” I saw something called “ Double Dough” as an option. I’ve never had this so I figured why not… Long story short my family and everyone that I have sent there ever since it’s totally obsessed with “double dough” it’s almost like warm bread with cheese and sauce. It’s amazing and the staff couldn’t be nicer. I don’t really get on here and write reviews very much but this pizza has definitely made an impact on my family.
Welcome to Medford!! We have always enjoyed your food but tonight we ordered the Big Mac pizza and the Fenway Pizza and they were beyond fabulous!! No one in Medford can make pizza as delicious as you do.
One of the best pizzerias in the Cambridge/Somerville/Medford area. Staff is super friendly, prices are a little higher than the old days but not too bad, and, most importantly, the pizza is top-f*cking-notch. The store doesn't look like much when you drive by the front but the food is so unbelievably good. They recently changed locations but the pizza is still just as good (maybe even better) than at the previous location.
Love Pini’s been eating it since I was a kid. Whether it be school functions, parties, last minute dinner or a quick slice at the 4th of July fireworks it’s always good and consistent. Margarita pizza is my favorite but mozzarella sticks are also another go to.
I would give it a higher rating if it was possible, one of the best (if not the best) pizza places in the Somerville Boston area. The flavor is outstanding and the slice size is huge! I was blown away by the taste the first time I ate there. Nothing like pini’s, if your in the area please get a slice of there pizza you won’t regret it
I did not realize they were still in business, but like 10 years I got pizza from there very often and it was really good. I think I'll go there tomorrow!
I ordered for the first time from Pini's. The app I used delivered to the wrong address/city. The young man I spoke to at Pini's was so kind, understanding and professional when I called there. I had a bunch of kids here saying how great your pizza is!!! I will definitely order from you again but!!!... Next time I will call the store directly!! I wish I got his name but, I want to say thank you very much for helping me out and I appreciate that so much!!! ????? 11/20/21
