Similar to Yamato in downtown Boston, but the sushi tastes better and salmon is fresher (and cheaper). If you want more choices and ice cream remember to come at dinner or pay dinner price.
This wonderful Medford center mainstay is one of our favorite places for sushi cheap and cheerful. Lovely attentive staff and mouth-watering preparations from eel to surf clams. Plain and simple = the best.
The sushi here is very good, and it's reasonably priced for an all-you-can-eat sushi place, but every once in a while the fish looks a little dried like it might not be as fresh as it could be. Still recommend if you have a big appetite for sushi!
AYCE sushi.... better price than most AYCE sushi joints.... Parking varies because there is only street parking available.... beware of the 2 hr parking spots during the day... There is a large parking lot in the back of the ICCM center, literally a 10-second drive down from Nijiya that can accommodate customers. If you dine out after 8 pm, parking is free if you can find it.I've been going here for years now, and these guys really are the best... definitely a hidden around the area. Its always the same 3 servers (2 ladies - 1 with glasses and a gentleman with glasses) who are serving, and they do a great job every time. Make sure to tip them well because they deserve it. The service is what I will say makes or breaks this place compared to other AYCE sushi spots, as well as restaurants around. They are always so kind and curteous. Here are some pics... Feast your eyes on this!**i tried putting names to the rolls in my pictures if i remembered... I'll update them as i figure out the names or remember ? sorry guys!
This is probably our favorite sushi place in the Boston area due to the quality and amount you get for the price! With $30 you can get a huge variety of sashimi, makis, and appetizers most of which taste great! The quality of certain dishes/fish do vary depending on the day. Sometimes the fish does seem less fresh than others or appetizers aren’t made as well. However, for the price I would say it’s definitely worth it!
Nice place. Awesome all you can eat x 27.99$...
I’m normally okay with Chinese owned sushi places (I’ve come to have dinner with friends many times) but something has changed here after the pandemic.First, the salmon & tuna tasted HORRIBLE!!! Even the color looked like they used old frozen fish…Second, after you ordering second time they don’t give you a order sheet unless you have to ask for it.If you are going to spend $35 for sushi I would suggest you to go to Wegman for better quality sushi.
Well worth for lunch price and you get a $2 discount if you pay in cash! The all you can eat includes appetizers and a whole variety of Maki and sashimi. They are also allergy friendly, told then I had a sesame allergy and was still able to enjoy all of the sushi ( just can't have spicy mayo on it). Don't except fancy dinning, best place if you want to be full!
So for the variety I give it 5 stars. The price is 5 stars. The restaurant is clean so 5 stars. The service was also 5 stars. The quality is okay so 3.5 stars. The salad was okay with not much to it other than lettuce. Dressing was good. The spring rolls were slightly greesy but good. The tempura well you can't find the shrimp. Pass on that next time. The crazy maki was okay. The tempura shrimp maki was also okay. Not wowed by the food, but everything else was good. The shrimp was very tiny.
Had a pleasant time here. The sushi was good, with lots of variety. The salmon sashimi was a bit of a hit or miss - when it's good it's really good, other times they would be a bit cold. Their special makis were generally pretty good. The appetizers are well portioned so as to not overfill your stomach. Service is pretty good too, though we did have to wait for quite a bit before food was served, but it was worth it. Would definitely come back here again!
