Took the family here for Lunch and the food is awesome. The wife and I got the BBQ bacon burger with fries and onion rings, soooo good. The kids got pasta, Mac n cheese, and chicken tenders. The server was awesome and the food came out in great time. We sat in the outdoor seating area which was nice. The inside was very nice as well. We will be back for sure.
We had been to Welly’s in Hudson and love the food. Eating outdoors is challenging because of the noisy traffic, so we decided to try the restaurant in Marlboro. The difference in noise was appreciable. Even with the occasional motorcycle and dual muffler muscle cars that drove by. Our server was great, as was the food. My haddock arrived piping hot. My husband’s steak tips were cooked to his liking of well done, while not being dried out. The arrived hot as well. The sides were hot and delicious. All well prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back.
Had a great lunch at Wellys. The waitstaff was awesome! It’s one of my go to places. Fish always fresh. Got a booth in the main dining room; do not care for the other rooms; much too noisy, acoustics bad. Prices have gone up, but will pay as long as food and service stay excellent. Staff cares…service is important as food for me.
Mediocre food, terrible service and experience. We had a reservation and they sat us at a table that was right in front of the kitchen by a couple of feet. Before we had even seen a waiter, servers were nudging our chairs so they could get by and passing dirty dishes over our heads to get them to the kitchen. I asked our waiter to seat us at a different table and she said she would look into it. As she was “looking into it” they cleared tables all around us and seated new customers. I eventually got up and went to the hosting table to ask them to give us a different table, they said they would check. After another couple of minutes they said they couldn’t move us. I asked for the manager and he came out and gave us the next open table. After finally getting a table that wasn’t irresponsibly located, I ordered the Welly’s Pastrami. It tasted like a hot dog and was underseasoned. My wife’s haddock was quite good. If it was just the food I would give it another chance but the service was truly awful, I recommend staying away.

We had an outstanding Dinner experience at Welly’s last night. Shawn the bartender was amazing!! His level of service was outstanding and his genuine style really made our experience fantastic. The food was also outstanding with a great list of wine and crafted cocktails. Also a great location and atmosphere for really any occasion. Definitely a must!!
3 stars because it is my go-to restaurant and the food was excellent as usual. But I requested a more secluded outdoor table than the one I got (and there were ideal ones empty for our entire stay which made my unfulfilled request even more frustrating). It was loud at our table and the AC above one of the restaurant doors was dripping which was splashing on us (even after the waitress and I moved the table as much as we could away from the drip). Wind was worse than forecasted and although that is not the restaurant's fault, had we been at one of the more secluded tables they offer better sound and wind protection than the table they sat us at. I'll go there again for sure (the food IS excellent) but may stick to takeout next time!
