My son and I were staying in the area for the night and decided to grab a bite. The hostess greeted and sat us right away but the server never came. After about 20 minutes the hostess came back over and said it would be a max of 10 minutes for our server to come over. We waited a little more than that and still no server came over so we walked out. I get there are likely staffing problems but I would have rather been told it will be a 30 minute wait and not sat us to manage our expectations a little more. Terrible restaurant training or no training at all seems to be going on there.
The food tasted fine but there was a big issue. I ordered the Loaded Fry Burger and that was not at all what I recieved. On the menu, it states it comes with loaded fries, meaning bacon and obviously fries. There were no loaded fries but instead mozzarella sticks? I'm not sure why this was put on my burger, and what I ordered could not have been misheard as something else. There is no burger on the menu that comes with mozzarella sticks on top. Not to mention, our appetizer was forgotten about so we needed to remind the waitress, resulting in the appetizer coming out after the meal.
The only great customer service I received was from my waitress. When I first walked in with my family we were not greeted at all. And just taking to any seating which I had to ask to be seated where I would like wit my family. I know businesses are short staffed but the lack of just decent customer service is appalling. My food unfortunately was just not good. I wanted to try the this dish on there menu which was selected as a fav and it definitely was far from that with taste. My pasta dish literally taste burnt. And the loaded potatoes skins were so over cooked they were soaked in grease and just like no effort was put in to bringing us good and presentable food. I’m very disappointed.
Employee smoking a blunt at the door of the restaurant holding the front door with his foot because it was “cold”. Nothing like the scent of freshly burnt marijuana when entering a restaurant with your family, including an asthmatic child. When I politely pointed this out this employee didn’t even know what asthmatic meant and ignorantly continued to blaze his blunt after being called out. Took a lot of restraint not to slap that blunt out his mouth.Young man, probably a busboy, wears glasses and short hair. I’m not usually the guy to make a big deal about it but after some thought I realized that I work very very hard for my money. God forbid I post up at the door of my business smoking a blunt stinking the whole place up and continue to do so after a patron politely asked you to have more respect and consideration for families frequenting the establishment.TGI Fridays should invest more in true professionals. Step your game up.
I'm obsessed with the mash potatoes and tropical tea here Everyone was very friendly! I was very satisfied coming here before my movie so was my boyfriend . I have never been to TGI before.Server was nice and professional though we sat around a little waiting for food it was ? amazing. Will come back!
We just had lunch their today tell me why this poor guy named Zach was doing everything? The bar and the restaurant. I know finding staff is hard but I always know you must have a supervisor on duty. Someone should of helped him that man better get a raise or a bonus. No one should work alone during the holidays. What kind of good service is that? I hope your days are better Zach thank you for your exceptional service.
You know the feeling when everyone else is getting their food before you? Even for those who arrive after you! Not a good feeling right? That was what happen on my first visit. Nobody offered me a compensation for the mistake, only a simple explanation with no apparent regret. They gave me 25% discount and two vouchers so, at least something to make my experience better
My waiters were awesome. The food was not so great...I have had better experiences there
I love burgers, like a lot. If a restaurant offers a burger I get it, so I’ve had a lot of burgers from a lot of places. And no burger I’ve had is better than the loaded cheese fry burger from this TGIF. The waitresses are really nice too.
The only good thing about the experience was the taste of the food. Although the waitress took forever to bring it out. I was a cook for about a decade so I could tell. The server visited the table 3 times at most. Took over 10minutes to get the check and we had to go to the manager to get it. He came to our table a few times to check on us, glad someone did! We got delivered the wrong appetizer and the wrong sauces for it as well, she forgot the sauces and plates and had to go back for two trips to bring both to the table. Not a pleasant experience.
