I was hired as a manager here. Every night I closed there were multiple mice running thru the dining room, the kitchen n in the basement, roaches on the counters. There are several fridges that are broken n do not hold the correct food safe temperature. In trying to report this to the owner I was reprimanded for telling the other managers. We were never paid our correct wage per our contracts and just happened to be the only people of color, after a 6 day of work I got a check for $66.00. Under minimum wage n not what our contract agreed I will also report to the board of health, bbb, Massachusetts dependent of labor standards… I will make a review on every platform . I will be heard, my correct wages will be paid or you will be sued… now I’m off to Yelp!!!
Really? A “GARNISH” the waiter said when I questioned the 2 scrawny onion rings completely hidden under fries with fried clams on top. Why ruin a good thing by being cheap and deceitful? $29.00 market price for this and coleslaw. The manager made it right by bringing the remainder of the onion rings which I had expected according to the description on the menu. P. S…. A garnish is such a small decoration on top of the food that it is often not even included in the menus ‘ description.
Had a wonderful breakfast today.Waitstaff were friendly and attentive. I had a vegetable omelet and dish of fruit which I enjoyed very much. Husband had a breakfast combo they offered with eggs, ham, apple slices and a biscuit.That also was very good. We will be back! Sat at back table by window and got to watch the ducks and saw a beautiful Baltimore oriole by pond! What a treat!

I have eaten here twice because it's always recommended. Each time I have been, I found the experience lacking. There appears to be plenty of staff around, but service is slow and disorganized. The food is on par with Applebee's, which is disappointing. The setting is beautiful, but the decor is cluttered and dusty. I believe this was a good restaurant in its time, but it needs to catch up to the modern day.
This is a great place to eat! It's located on a pond where there are ducks. We could see them from our table. The food was delicious!I had breakfast. So good!!!! Portions were very generous. There is also a country store here. They had the wood stove going so it was warm and toasty. The country store has a little bit of everything and also a candy store attached. It has a lot of old time candy you can't find anywhere.
Tried to have a nice lunch with my granddaughter. Food (besides my fish)was cold. The waitress asked me to pay the bill asap because she wanted to get out of there . Never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before.!
My home fries were burnt with black skin on them and my sausage Patties were at dry as the dessert. But the waiter was super nice.

First time in the other day for breakfast and ill definitely be back. Everything was delicious, highlighted by the homemade maple sausage. If there’s a dish on the menu that comes with it, GET IT! If not, it’s well worth the $6.95 for a side order. You WONT be disappointed! Next time i’m trying the chicken and waffles: several orders of it went through the restaurant and it looked to die for! Only critique was that I asked the waitress if the corned beef hash was homemade and she said it was. When my corned beef hash omelette came, as well as my daughter’s side order of it and my wife’s hash and eggs breakfast came, it was not homemade: it was either canned or packaged. We don’t mind/like it like that, but it’s disappointing to expect homemade corned beef hash and then not receive it. Other than that, job well done and we’ll see oh again for breakfast soon!
