Terrible service, great habachi chef, (that's why I slid him a $20). After tipping over %20 the waitress chased us outside & demanded more of a tip,. I have never had such an unpleasant experience
Not a great experience. Hibachi is supposed to be fun with lots of interaction and energy. Service and Chef seemed disengaged. Very pushy service from waitress, like she wanted us to order more & more due to automatic tip percentage. Chef forgot to cook our chicken after ordering CHICKEN and shrimp. Also, party that was sitting across from us received about 12-15 pieces of shrimp with their steak, meanwhile myself and wife received about 5 pieces. Place is getting run down and not getting the proper care or cleaning. Overall, a terrible experience and won't be going back.
Great hibachi experience and excellent, decent priced scorpion bowls!
Ordered online. They have our order to another party. They called and said they would comp the order for their mistake. Waited over an hour for them to remake our order. Then tried to charge us the full amount. We had a graduation party the previous Sunday at their grill for 20 people. They didn’t care. Horrible customer service. Would never go their again.
We had habachi for my birthday abs it took forever to come out. They offered s birthday cake which is thought was complementary. They never mentioned that there was a charged attached.. on top of that they messed out orders up. I’d say go anywhere else for you birthday dinner
I've been coming here since it first opened, never had a bad experience or bad food from here. I love getting the deep fried Philly roll, my go-to! I recently dined in (I usually order take out) and had the Cherry Blossom margarita, absolutely delicious! Love how close Okami is from me, very convenient.
I made reservations for 9 pm didn’t get attended till 9:35 pm that was only to place my order for my drinks. By 10:00 pm we placed our food order the chef didn’t start cooking till 10:20 pm. Chefs were friendly and nice the waitress was very confused. It was one waitress for 20 people 3 different parties. Food was good but I will never be coming back service was awful. The only reason why I’m putting two stars is because the chef was amazing. The owner also favorited the party across from us and gave them free drinks as well as desserts and we were all seated at the same time. It was very short staffed and we were the last party since the restaurant closes at 11:00 pm. Hope this review helps I should’ve payed attention to the other reviews.
Went in on April 2nd and had a fine meal. We were put with another group so there were 10 people at the table. I went to get the check and gave the waiter my card tipped between 15 and 20 % as the service was ok. ( I still believe that a tip is earned for service and not a guarantee). after signing the check the waiter comes back and askes me for another $30 for the chef. I was stunned to think that I was being told how to tip. The waiter complained that he had to share the tip. The table chef was boring. He spun an egg, onion volcano and cooked the food. If I had the chef at the next table I could understand he was having fun. We gave him another $25 just to leave as I was getting very upset.
Sushi was very fresh and food was made quickly even at peak on a Saturday night. Paid attention to allergies and service was great. Loved the unique and vibrant atmosphere, will definitely be back again.
The food and the service here are both fantastic. The sushi was super fresh, and my daughter loved the Crab Rangoon. Unfortunately, we live out of state, otherwise we'd be regulars!
