Came here and got the biscuits and gravy special with a chicken fried steak. The fry on the steak was good although the portion felt a bit small but right for the price especially with the eggs and generosity of the gravy. The one thing I will say was that the music was pretty loud. If you're looking for like a rocking place to jam out to some tunes while you support a local business that has classic diner fare then this is your place to be. Their oil is clean so if you do go here I'd recommend anything that's deep fried because it's probably great.
I stop there once a month when I have an appt. In the area.. I look forward to it every time. A real 'home' feeling. I grew up in PA and it does feel like my youth!Their corned beef hash.... ❤️
Busy as hell saturdays but damn the wait is worth it. Prices are good, cash only, but hey you get your money’s worth. At first apprehensive due to the wait but damn the omelets are amazing. The tater tots are incredible, friendly and attentive staff, the only thing that wasn’t good were the hash browns but I can overlook that. I loved it so much after going my first time this past Saturday I went back Sunday. Definitely will be going back.
Jake's is a great local breakfast place. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. They serve lunch but I've only had breakfast there because they make their own corned beef hash which is amazing - the best I've had. Belgium waffles with fresh fruit are great. Omelets are done as stuffed rolls with plenty of filling -I love their chili omelet with jalapenos and they do all the standards as well.

Jake's is a classic diner experience, great food at great prices. If dining in, keep an eye on their specials, always some tasty items on the menu.
Gives a homey feel. You get to know the people there while eating their delicious food. Also, the smells were delightful and I wanted to stay more but I couldn’t. It may seem cramped but they are a well oiled machine and they get your food to you on time. They do not disappoint
I came there yesterday for the first time with my homegirl and her babies. I really want to say I come from Atlanta, home of Waffle House and honestly, Jakes got them beat. The waffle was amazing, inside and out, as well as my sides (the hashsbrowns, bacon and eggs) one of the waitresses didn't think the Arnold Palmer would be sweet enough but it was ON THE SPOT one of the best Arnold Palmers I ever had. As busy as it was the two lovely ladies that waited on us made sure to check back in at our table very frequently. It was perfect minus the little fruit flies but who wouldn't wanna fly around that amazing food. I will definitley be back. Thank you.
