If you love seafood, you'll love Ming's! Everything is fresh, delicious and served in the blink of an eye! When you place your order and start talking with your table companions, you'll be quickly interrupted by the yummy plates that seemingly appear in front of you as if by magic!The wait staff is super speedy and efficient. Did I mention the food is amazing!!?
It must have been ages since I was in Malden, and Lord has it changed. and for the better I would say.the food here was good, the ambience nice enough. I found that for lunch the portions were too small, and for Dim Sum too big.Nevertheless, we left well fed and watered.
Our family had not been eating out for sometimes due to the pandemic. It was a disappointing experience at the Ming's tonight not only because of the customer services but also the food quality. My mom being a loyal supporter of Chinese food even made a comment "wrost Asian food she tried in her life." I hope the owner would read the comments and spend more time hiring better staffs and head chief. God bless.
We went here on a Sunday morning. We arrived at 10:30 and it was already pretty busy. When we left at noon it was mobbed. This is really real Dim Sum. We went with friends who are from Taiwan, this is their go to spot. We let our friend make the selections from the menu. It appears due to covid the carts are not used. The food was excellent even the Chicken feet. Yes, we ate chicken feet. Be bold, try something you would never imagine.
I went there specifically for dim sum. Called ahead first to make sure they still were doing it. When I got there you have to pick your items from a picture menu, plus no prices neither. Usually dim sum is served by servers going around with carts full of the items. So the experience was different than typical dim sum. Then the items came out & few of them were cold, not even warm. Ordered Chinese broccoli too with oyster sauce and basically was drizzled on, asked for a bit more & was basically stared at. So must be prepared ahead of time ??♀️. The food was is ok, not the best from my other dim sum go toos... but I definitely missed having duck! They do not serve it there. Other places I've gone are different and would rather go there. Then after eating for an hour and basically finished. They tell us cash only! Said cc machine isn't working, ok I understand but why did you wait until the end for me to figure out how to get cash! On top of it I checked over the bill and they charged me for 3 teas! I NEVER ASKED FOR TEA and we didn't even drink the tea! So check your bill! They put the tea on the table automatically & charge you per person! At that point I was just aggravated enough, I got the cash from the ATM, paid the bill and left. I don't think I'll return.
Most of the dumplings were quite good (excellent given the very cheap prices).Service is different from typical American service. You're not assigned a single waiter to your table. They have many waiters that occasionally check your table. When they're busy you do have to get their attention if you need more water, dishes, ready for the check, etc. But once you get their attention they have fast service.Not bad, just something to keep in mind.
The first time we came here for dim sum we were impressed. Ordered the staples and all came out good. The venue is well lit and comfortable. So we went back for a second time and it was a disappointment. The shrimp rice noodles were cold, the Portuguese egg tart was not bothered to be toasted, and the HK style fried noodles were nothing like the real thing, charred and cinged bits of egg noodles with no flavor and just oily bits. Not sure if we’ll go back for 3rd time.
Worst experience ever. We just came to the restaurant. There isn't price on the menu, therefore, we ask the server about whether she could tell us the price. She said I don't know it with the worst attitude ever(her face is telling me that if you can't afford it, then don't come at all). Then, I politely ask her if she could ask someone else about the price, so I know what I am ordering. She walked away with the meanest face ever.I honestly don't know what's going on with her because I had politest manner I could have. I here to have good foods and experience.It is your server and restaurant's responsibiliy to provide the price to customers! Will never come again.
I've come here many times now. I have ordered take out and dined in. There has never been a bad experience. The food is absolutely delicious. Chinese people will come and dine here too, which just goes to show how good it is. They don't skimp out in portion sizes either. The black pepper calamari is absolutely delicious. If you haven't tried it here, I highly recommend it! The food is very reasonably priced, especially for the excellent food and portion sizes. The service too is always great, friendly, not fussy. Can't say enough good things about this place.
The waitress was extremely rude and aggressive. My friends and I came in on a week day and 50% of the items on the menu were unavailable. Besides, the waitress told us we shouldn't be here just because my friend wiped his nose ( which casused by eating dumplings with chili oil). That was a very frustrating experience and we will not come back again even we live in the building right next to this place.
