I was here last year for a birthday celebration and received horrible service. Everyone of us was so disappointed. Never come back again
Hot pot. Pot hot. Hop tot. Tot poh. For years, I’ve attempted to comprehend this arcane ritual. To sit in communion with gli amici tossing plates of meat and taro into the boiling broth-y abyss while fishing out balls of fish paste—what exactly is this? Cooking? Eating? Co-eating? I’m not much of a cook myself—at best, I can scramble a mean egg and stir fry the occasional vegetable(s). And eating? On a good day, I’m barely managing some fifteen hundred kilocalories in the ol’ gullet. Don’t bet on me to win Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest this July. But two wrongs make a right, right? 1 + 1 = 2. So maybe co-eating’s really just the thing for me. Thanks, Ibasaw, for showing me the way. 5/5 bulking rating. Also, I lied about being able to scramble an egg.
This was my first experience with "Hot Pot" dining. You select 2 broth flavors that stay hot via an induction plate on your table. Then you select from a WIDE variety of meat, vegetables, and starch to be brought to your table. You drop them in the broth to cook and pull them out as completed. The meat is sliced thin so it cooks in seconds. The veggies take but longer so add them first. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a fun dinner and a new dining experience. I would go back again soon.
Very delicious and cheap for what you are able to get at this restaurant. Amazing servers and customer service. So much meat per order so just be mindful of that so you don't over order. They also have fresh cut fruit after you finish your meal. Over all 10/10
My cousin heard good things and wanted to try this seafood hot pot joint. Ironically, we ordered more meat and veggies than actual seafood. For brother, we went for Tom Yung (spicy) and Creamy White, which was perfect when things got too heated. There's a sauce table where you can mix and test out what sauces you like. I thought the food was okay and was a bit hard to enjoy because of the watchful eyes. Although chopsticks should be second nature for me, I struggled that night and I can see them looking and making comments because I used my hands to put items in the broths. I shall return at some point and redeem myself!
This is a must try! The freshness of the food, the service, the willingness to help you sumerge into their culture it’s great, definitely would recommend, now here’s a warning specially for the Hispanic community, when they say spicy, they mean spicy!!!! Heads up! I haven’t felt this welcomed in a while, thank you to everyone there !
Pretty good if compared to other all you can eat hotpot restaurants. $35 if you only go for hotpot, $46 if you want sushi as well. Avoid shrimp paste because it tasted weird. Also, sushi might be very slow to prepare so keep that in mind if you are there on weekends.
Came here to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend. We were excited all week. We come in and were coldly greeted and seated. after getting all of our food we had one of the waitresses standing right next to our table watching us. it got to the point where she even snatched a utensil out of our hands. another couple was eyeballing us as we tried to salvage our botched dinner. Overall it was a unwelcoming, uncomfortable experience. We will not be returning.
Went here with my friends the other night for “all you can eat sushi”. We selected a few sashimi options and they made the sashimi cut the size of a quarter. So essentially 10 pieces was really 5. Overall service was rushed and not attentive. Fish was also not fresh. Don’t recommend.
Best quality and AYCE price for very good hotpot in Boston area. Cordial staff. Very good sauce, salad,& pickle bar. Been several times with groups of Asian exchange students, and they thought food and experience were both great.
