I met my family there for lunch during the week. We all were extremely happy with the entire experience! I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was cooked perfectly with the eggplant light and crispy. Family entrees included Braised Short Ribs and Chicken Piccata (all excellent) including the House salad.Our waitress Phyllis was amazing, attentive and with great personality!This place is terrific! I'm glad I was able to join my family for this wonderful experience.
Amazing experience! Not sure what happened with the negative reviewers, but we went and the food was amazing, extremely reasonably priced for the quality and convenient downtown location! Cute outdoor seating area, plenty of room inside as well. Cocktails were amazing!! Tried the Mai Tai and the signature sangria. 10/10. Both paninis we tried, Caesar salad, and pizza were also excellent. Staff is also incredibly friendly! It was a very clean environment as well. Definitely recommend and will 100% be back!
Been wanting to try this place out. So we came on Sunday about 4 pm. Place was not packed at all. Ordered the chips appetizer, in fact ate one whole one, and then ordered it again. Son ordered the kids pepperoni pizza with a side of chips. Husband ordered the chicken, broccoli, fettuccine. He said it was good, but had just wished there was more broccoli in it. Felt like it was just seen pieces. I had the steak and bleu salad. The steak tips were cooked about medium and they were fantastic. Came with about 4 good size steak tips, the salad seemed a little small for a dinner portion. If I didn't get the second appetizer of chips, we would've all been still hungry. Still will go back, because I want to try other items.
HORRIBLE!!!!!! Never again !!! Last Sunday I ordered by delivery two portions of shrimp scampi (one big and one small) + some fried calamari. When the food was brought home I was shocked! The large portion ($ 32) was a very small one, and the small one ($ 23) looks like a sad side, not even like an option for kids. In addition to the abnormally small amounts, those pastas were a sad joke in the true sense of the word. They were dry, without sauce, without taste, they had a maximum of 4 shrimps and 3-4 cherry tomatoes from a can. As a former waiter I will tell you that their investment in a portion is a maximum of $ 6-7 but they will serve you a food joke at an astronomical price. Never again !!!!
Pretty good. Nice place, nice bar. Food was mostly good. Waitress was a bit stand-offish but it could have just been a bad day
What an incredible experience! We planned a 50th birthday celebration and the staff was absolutely incredible from the first phone call, to showing us the space, to even helping us set-up the night of the event. We met the owner, had dedicated staff for our private party, and even had the chef come in to cut the cake for everyone! Highly recommend this establishment. They are pros and great people to celebrate big milestones with! Thank you!
Our first experience certainly won’t be our last!! We celebrated a birthday party at Evviva (Malden) last night and not only was the food delicious, but the customer service, attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff was unmatched! From the ease of booking & planning with Brittany, to the amazing team of Juan the restaurant manager, Milton the chef, and Ava our waitress, they were so wonderful to us! They allowed us to bring in our own music and decorations and even helped us decorate the room! They felt more like friends than staff! I can’t say enough good things! Thank you so much, Evviva! We will definitely be back!!
First time there and we will be returning! Over, and over again! Our waitress Ava and her manager Juan were both attentive, courteous, caring and fun!! They helped set up Decorations we brought in. Put actual care into the event we had. Mingled with our guests. Smiles all around. Ava is a huge asset to Evviva! From one waitress to another, girl YOU ROCKED IT. ❤️
Fantastic crews working here! We had a city hall marriage down the street and we wanted to have a casual celebration lunch and they welcomed us and went beyond! They helped us choosing from menu based on what's good for the day and food was superb and fresh. They surprised us with a congratulations card at the end to make our day so special. This local chain prepares everything fresh at the site and you won't be disappointed!
