This Lao place offers a good selections of Lao dishes. Their fried meatball was quite good. The meat was not too dried. The sweet and sour sauce went well with the meatball and cabbage on the side. Nam Khao is my favorite lao food, and I've tried it at many places. Nam Khao at this place was a little too sour for me, but I liked the ratio of their peanut and cilantro to the rice. It would have been better if they made it less sour and just added lime on the side.
Crispy pork was fantastic with rice. Chicken soup superb.
Color of the food looks scary but you dont have to go to Thailand to eat. Just come here the tast is real??
exceptional spicy chix wings. beef penang was awesome as well. they use thai red chillies- can ask for extra spicy and you wont be dussapointed.
Excellent meal tonight at Zabb Elee in Lowell (Laotian). We got the grilled steak, egg rolls, kao piek which is a chicken soup with nice thick chewy udon noodles. I think they might have been hand cut noodles because they weren’t 100% uniform and they did not get soggy in the super hot soup. Also got the nam kao which is a fresh salad of a ton of herbs, crispy fried rice, sausage, peanut, chili and more. You are meant to make little lettuce cups and top with a bit of the chili. The chef came over and asked how everything was. So gracious and made sure we had everything we need. We will definitely be back to try more things!
Food was very good and very authentic. I enjoyed the Larb Gai and Khao Piak. Definitely recommend.
This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants period! I've had almost everything on this menu. The food is as authentic as it can be and is very spicy so this is not for the faint hearted. The larb beef is delightfully spicy and the fresh herbs make it so flavourful... The Basil Seafood dish is heavenly.
The food delicious and authentic. It was wonderful experience with a wonderful cultural ambience.
The owners really cool and friendly. I got the cow tounge because I wanted to try something new and it was pretty good.
Food taste good but the portions were way too small.
