I used to live in the apartment above back in college. So I took the kids to visit here. The food are freshly made so it is bit slow while you wait in line. It's also good to know some Spanish as some of the employees don't speak much English. We had chicken borittos, steak plate and a steak quesadillas. The meats are well seasoned, topping are fresh and flavorful. Kids loved their borittos.Prices are pretty good as well.
Pretty difficult to call ahead of time to place your order due to calls not being picked up. You'll have to go there and place an order in person. I've gone to several other Tacos Lupita in other cities and the service is much better. Pupusas are good here. The tacos are lacking carne, not once but on all my visits here. If there are improvements in the future I'd definitely support this location 100%.Placing the order of tacos or burritos involve picking and choosing the type of ingredients you want and that's a plus.
Called ahead to order…was hung up on and the order was not made when we arrived. Ordered birria tacos but this is what I got, the shells weren’t cooked and no melted cheese. Also, we got a quesadilla which ended up being a burrito and that was great. Stay away if you’re looking for birria tacos.
Food is always meh. Would suggest a burrito if anything - everything else always lacks flavor and is rushed.
This is a humble little shop serving absolutely delicious Mexican food. It's very flavorful, and really feels like it's cooked lovingly, like for family. This is exactly the kind of restaurant that makes Lowell such a great place to eat. I can't wait to come back, and I hope that the lengua de res is available when I do!
Ordered 4 things today, they messed up 3 of them, even with the order being written down from online. Asked for no beans, no sour cream, no chicken, no lime on some of our items and got everything. When ordering inside, I wanted two burritos made the exact same way, but they could not fathom such a request. After going through the process of making one, I tried again to say “the exact same thing” for my next burrito, and the worker just stood there looking at me, dumbfounded, asking what I wanted on it. The food is ok and only worth getting because its cheap. There’s pretty much always been something wrong or bad when I go here
Food was warm at best, they also have pupusa as a menu item but it’s never available, not even right after opening
Great taco place worth stopping for if you’re in the area.
Best tacos I've had in a long time. Good price too. I'll definitely come back!
Extremely overpriced! 2 tacos for $10 tiny *** tacos. I ordered birria and It was not birria. The burrito was cold and the rice felt so hard it was like an old rice. Very disappointed!!!
