I was looking for something different for dinner when I came across this place. I love beets, so I tried those, the smoked rice, and the most amazing pita chips I've ever had. The food was so good! Everything tasted super fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back!
OMG THIS FOOD. Service is eloquent, they are a family run business that offer delicious halal cuisine and got he extra mile for their clients. The Arabic coffee is a real special treatment when dining in. It's different from the average joe in that it's spiced and S T R O N G. The mixed grill is amazing it's my absolute favorite you get 2 types of rice, chicken, shrimp, beef, and lamb with a salad and pita bread and 3 types of sauces; humus, a garlic sauce, and a spicy one that is OUT os THIS world tasty ? I recommend they bottle that liquid gold and sell it ? ? You could get 2-3 meals out of the mixed grill or split it with another person when dining in or taking out. This place is not nearly as busy as it should be for the quality of their food!!! I wonder if it's maybe because of where they are located? If so, I took a picture of the outside of the building. All you do is walk right in those doors and to the right, is Lemon in Thyme, you can't miss it! I had to write a rave review with instructions because I am THAT passionate about the quality and taste of their food ? everyone should try it once! Thank you Lemon and Thyme! ? ?
Delicious. I came here for a sunday lunch with my boyfriend. It's within the old textile mill, so the interior is cool looking (first pic is the ceiling above the dining area.) I got the rice plate with vegetables and lamb, all of which were cooked and seasoned very well. It came with homemade hummus and labneh which were also sooo good! My boyfriend got the falafel and rice plate. The falafel's nice and crispy. We also shared the Lemon and Thyme lemonade, which tasted very fresh! Both the meals came with a salad as an appetizer too; I loved the fried pita chips(?) on top. I'm happy we came here

Smoked rice with lamb was so good I ate too much! There was an addictive blend of seasonings - lots of spices but not chili heat. Service was friendly too.
Expected a traditional Greek restaurant from the menu but there was a definite twist on the food in a good way. Very unusual moussaka that was delightful with the addition of chick peas. Best cooked eggplant ever. The beet and tahini dip was light and sweetly flavored. Service was excellent.
When we went to this restaurant for the first time, the staff handed a paper menu to order food.We ordered some meat like lamb and yellow rice.The food was huge amount and it seemed so bigger than normal lunch.After all, we couldn’t finish the food because of the amount and asked the staff a box to bring it home.And when we paid, we were astonished.The price was unbearably expensive!!!!!$20 more than the original price!!!!!We asked the staff what had happened for our lunch and why it cost over $60 for the lunch only.Then, he asked us it was the first time of our visit here and we answered yes.He said, “Ok. The price on the paper menu was changed recently and the price went up. If you didn’t know that, I can do discount for today. But make sure for the next time, the price changed. ”We could hardly understand what he said.If the food price changed, why didn’t he tell us anything when we ordered?!?! If we knew the price, we could change the menu or checked the price.It was soooooo unreasonable, and even, ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We said we couldn’t accept it.But he said again, the restaurant was now hard situation because all food price went up, so he could only give us a discount.But again, the DISCOUNT was higher than the original price.Huh, you would keep your benefit and let us pay more!?!?We paid finally the EXPENSIVE PRICE for them. We would never go to this restaurant again.And I don’t recommend you this restaurant because it will happen AGAIN!!!!!
I truly wanted to give them 5 starts. The staff was VERY friendly. The appetizers are very good. However the main meal (I had chicken shawarma plate) was so salty that I talked to it rest of the day… maybe just a bad day with the salt in the kitchen… who knows.
Nice atmosphere. Tasty Arabic food. Perfect service. Main course comes with soup and salad.
