The owner is extremely rude I had my daughter order hamburger pizza George’s style then I called to double check and he yes me I went to pick up my pizza and said it wasn’t hamburger he took my debit card and as I was talking he proceeded to go out back
Love this place their fish plate is bomb their tenders are awesome , mozzarella sticks are so good too would recommend this place to anyone they have a little bit of everything the food is always good the fish they give you a good amount of peices just love it
I moved away awhile ago and came back to visit and had to have a real steak and cheese bomb. it was the bomb!
My family has been going to George's since it opened 50 years ago. We drive past 3 other sandwich shops to get there. They have the best ham and cheese subs in the world. I've gotten several friends hooked on them. I'd love to see them expand upon it with Cuban sandwiches. My favorites also include the 'Torpedo', roast beef (it's rare), veal, fried haddock, and fried chicken. Their ingredients are always fresh, and their sub rolls are the best I've ever had. They don't have Italian subs. The 'Torpedo' is similar and delicious, but I wish they offered Italian subs as well. I prefer Swiss cheese on some of my sandwiches, but they don't offer that either. Other than that, George's is perfect. The subs are loaded with meat, portions generous, and prices have always been very reasonable. The owners and staff are super nice people, and you always feel welcome and appreciated.
I've been going to George's Deli for at least 45 years. Every Thursday, in the early years, ud stop for a sub on my way to bowling. Later years, it was when I needed a grilled cheese steak sub with mushrooms. So good. I live a distance away now, but when I visit my dear parents across the street at Edson Cemetery, I stop at George's.
Best pizza in Lowell! The menu is big ! And the owners are very friendly.
This spot is worth visiting. They have large portions for fair rates. Always well organized and with good atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
