Friendly service, delicious food and drink. Al fresco dining option a big plus. Will definitely be back.
Food was good nicely hot and fresh, area was nicely decorated, outdoor and indoor is nice but overall the waiting time for drinks, appetizers, food and in between check ups was awful if it wasn't for a guy name Jonathan that saw us waiting and came over to check on us we would of waited even longer. Thank you Jonathan ??you deserve 5 stars but not the actual server?. The waiting part sucked this time.?
I had a very uncomfortable experience in this place, starting because the food was brought in parts, first two plates and 10 minutes later the other two plates of the 4 people who were at the table. After that, my meal, a dish that cost more than 20 usd, was a piece of meat that I think weighed no more than 5oz and also had more bone than meat. I called the waitress and told her my disagreement to which she replied that she was going to call the manager, because she didn't know what to do. When the “manager” arrives, he tells me that that is the size of the piece of meat that they sell there because “everything is very expensive”. I tell him that I understand, that I was also a waitress in a restaurant and that I know how is the cut of that meat, but that it doesn't seem fair to me that they charge me that amount of money to give me meat that is more bone than meat. to which the "manager" replies that lemons are very expensive and that they are losing money selling meat, that I had no idea that because I was just a waitress and I didn't work in the kitchen, I didn't understand that meat was like that. Additionally, he dares to say in front of his clients that the client IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. After He continued arguing with me, the client, he was agree to change my plate but the truth is that even my hunger had gone. Finally another manager arrives to apologize for what happened and say that maybe the other "manager" was having a bad day. Also, he brings shots of tequila, thinking that this would calm me down, only he didn't take into account that I don't drink alcohol. I find it completely rude and misplaced that the manager of a place like that dares to argue with a client, insulting me and also saying things that the client is not interested in. If the supplies are "too expensive" set the price that is fair for them and the customer decides whether to pay for it or not and if it does not generate profits, then remove it from the menu. In addition, whether or not the client is right is not something that should be told to the client. A manager is not there just to say that he is, but to ensure that the client leaves the place happy.

Went for dinner and drinks for a friend’s birthday. Drinks were good, food was very good for the price. Spent $34 for one drink and two apps. They accommodated us quickly (group of 12). If you like to dance to loud music of MOSTLY Latin, some Afrobeat - you’ll like it here. They even came out with lights and put candles on the cake we brought for our friend’s birthday! Cute place for a night out. Only downside, service was VERY slow at the end.
This place is fun and hip. Really cool trendy decor. Open space seating. Food is well seasoned and comes in good size portions. Staff is friendly. Music is loud but thats part of the atmosphere. Recommend for a night out
The place was very nice. I was there for the weekend with some friends, who was attended by a young Latin man, who was kind, but he insinuated his friendliness more for a flirtation, and my friends just wanted to have fun alone and he insisted on cordial drinks. he didn't leave us alone...so we had to leave...respect the peace of the people and their expressions. I consider it to be a quiet place but their waiters stun them...
Piña Paraiso is delicious! Steak bowl delicious Servers give the best service here! Have had great experiences w/all servers but highly reccomend you ask for Jonathan & Karen if youre ever having an event with a larger party! Theyre the best!

I’ve been a big fan of el jefe for a couple of years on Uber eats through this Covid thing. Saw a major shift that started me last night. Ordered carnitas dinner. Menu Says rice and beans - got no beans. That’s ok. Small amount of rice. Not ok if there’s no beans. In the notes asked for spicy salsa on the side. Ignored. No salsa. The worst part…carnitas was about half big nasty chunks of fat. Really disappointed. It was like whoever threw this together did not give two hoots. It was bad. I actuallly did not want to review just send an email but the email button on the web site crashed my browser - tried twice. Phil
