Found this hide away gem by accident while lost. Food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and homemade. The size if the portions at a price that can’t be beat. Somewhere under those awesome onion rings is the biggest fillet of fresh Haddock. Service was fantastic. Would definitely make the 45 min drive in rush hour traffic on 128 just for this. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Split the Captain's platter and I'm pretty sure we still had leftovers! Cash only place. Fish scallops shrimp oysters were all perfectly cooked. I'm not an onion ring person but they were obviously the fan favorite at my table. And I can't say enough about the coleslaw which was good enough to stand on its own.

The very best freshest seafood delivered daily from Gloucester. All the food is fantastic! Burgers, steak & cheeses, sausage peppers & onion subs. Delicious Cole slaw, homemade Tatar sauce, you seriously can not beat it. Breakfasts are the bomb!! You never leave hungry that's for sure. Family owned and operated forever.♡
Went on a Monday, so there were plenty of seats. We each had seafood, I had the 3 way with fried cams and my girlfriend had the 2 way. Each item, the fish, scallops, shrimp and clams were delicious. They were cooked perfectly with the right amount of crackers. The sides, mashed potatoes and broccoli, were also cooked perfectly. We will definitely return.
I've lived in Lowell for 20 years and after driving from here to the coast for fresh seafood, I've discovered HEAVEN on Westford St. One of the hidden gems so close to home..HUGE portions of seafood, cooked to perfection, fresh and tasty...just like the coast!If you haven't tried Captain John's seafood, you aren't living! Delicious and worth every cent! Seafood platter could easily serve 2..if you wanted to share that is?? Try it!! You won't be disappointed❤?
