Literally feel sick after dining here. Chicken piccata was drenched in butter and my arteries are squeezing, I’m surprised with the older clientele that they’re not all dead yet. No flavor at all in anything, water had more taste to it. Marinara was watery as hell. I’m sad to write this, I used to love this restaurant as a child, but quality has absolutely gone through the floor.
The food was actually pretty good but the place itself is BEYOND outdated. Probably hasn’t been updated in the 50 years since they first opened. Their fancy website and images online make it look modern; but the dining room is like a kitchen nightmares episode with Gordon Ramsey. You will notice they only have one pic of the dining area online and it’s misleading/looks way nicer than the reality. The dining room has old red carpet from decades ago that has been blackened from foot traffic over time. They really need to rip that up. The dining room is also directly attached to the kitchen entry so there was a loud mix of classical music in the dining room vs the heavy metal music the cooks were blasting. It was good music and rock bands I actually like, but pick one or the other. Again pleasantly surprised by the food but the environment made me nervous to trust it. Get it for take out. It’s not worth the visit.
Great family run restaurant in Leominster. They make their own pasta and are open 7 days a week. It was good to see the parking lot and interior packed on a Sunday evening. The portions are generous, pictured are a dinner portion of meatball and chicken parm with fettuccine. There is also a full bar complete with an extensive drinks menu. Can’t go wrong here!
This has been my favorite restaurant for years. Their Chicken Picata is the best I have had anywhere. Service is always top notch. Definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely horrid experience. Seafood was spoiled and when I say spoiled, I ordered the casserole and the smell when it was brought to me was obviously rancid. After one bite I had to spit it out to avoid food poisoning. The only decent plate on our table was the boxed rigatoni and jarred sauce. All the other food had clearly been cooked a day or days before and reheated. Absolutely nothing was fresh. Even the lettuce was soaked and wilted. I honestly do not understand why anyone would recommend this place. It’s filthy inside and the fact that they use construction paper as linen is absolutely baffling and should have been the first bad sign of many. I know we’re not in the north end, but take a 20 minute drive South to Worcester and find real Italian restaurants like La Scala; Mare Monti; Rosalina’s; and even Leo’s. I urge anyone who reads this to please not dine at this establishment, you will regret it. Whoever owns this place has clearly given up and should close the doors, or sell to someone who cares.
I’ve never had a single bad thing here. Their chicken piccata, homemade pasta and meatballs are all incredible!
Excellent food! Can't wait to go back. Our waitress was very good at making sure we were satisfied and happy.
Family has been coming to this place for years but recently the quality and service has plummeted. Last nights visit was horrible! Order was not correct and was overcharged. When asked to make it right a man (not sure who) was verbally abusive. I strongly recommend Olive Garden instead. Their chicken piccata is not worth all the hassle!
Came here and the food was great. I have heard that they had amazing food and I was definitely not let down. I had ordered the chicken parmesan and couldn't eat all of it because there was so much. Definitely will come back here again. Everything was reasonably priced for what we had ordered.
I haven’t been here in 40 years. I remember how much my dad liked this place. When I entered it looked like nothing had been done to update the place in 40 years. There were empty cardboard boxes piled in the foyer. Everything seemed old and well used. That’s the bad news. The food was still very good homemade Italian. There’s a reason they’ve been in business for so long. Come for the food not the ambiance.
