The Columbia Tavern is a great place to eat, have a drink and meet wonderful people!
First time here. Food was good, would definitely go back. Service was also good, although it took some time to get our appetizers. Dinner was served within a reasonable time frame. Server was attentive and pleasant. Atmosphere was casual. Not a fan of pub tables and seating. Was happy to see a couple of regular tables. Overall a good dining experience.
While dining in, our waitress was attentive and super nice. The drinks were really good as well. Food was OK. We both got pasta dishes; Alfredo and some lemon chicken pasta thing. Alfredo was decent but I think it was lacking some seasoning. The wife's lemon chicken thing was really bland. I ended up switching plates with her.
Corn beef, and cabbage which is my absolute favorite in celebrating my Irish heritage on St. Patrick's days was outstanding! Absolutely delicious! Server was so sweet, and a wonderful vibe, and experience. Loved it!!!
We were there for trivia night. The food was fabulous, atmosphere fun, and service friendly. I wanted to give it two stars to keep it for my self.
Service is always outstanding, they really know how to find and keep the best people! Even if it wasn’t I would still go for the bacon cheeseburger with the perfectly toasted bun!
The chili was awesome and the chef inspired burger was the bomb.
atmosphere was great, food was great and I would go there again.
Our 3rd time at the Tavern... 1st time was good no issues .... 2nd time my GF's beer was skunked and pizza was terrible.... tonight 3rd time.... my GF's beer was flat... and we got our small bill 38.00 but was charged for someone else's large bill 58.00. (ironic the large bill was the waitresses friends) never going back...
I loved the haddock and would visit more often if it wasn't so load. The acoustics are awful and my ears are ringing when I leave. Maybe some pictures hanging on the walls would help.... please!!
