Was very optimistic about this place as this my very first visit! Ordered fish and chips for $$18 and this is what i got. 2 very small pieces of fish and the taste was ok. If you want good fish and chips with reasonable quantity of fish then go to eggroll lady and fish shack in worcester(for $11 to $12 you get 5 times more fish) and the causeway restaurant in Gloucester! You will thank me later
Got takeout tonight... chicken parm with ziti and Greek salad with shrimp. I was surprised how the chicken came out - 3 small pieces, but it was tasty - just no leftovers. Ziti was good. Salad was good as well as the shrimp. I have been searching for a chicken parm that I could crave. Although good it is not crave worthy. No complaints for a solid 4 out of 5 star meal. Staff was friendly. I do have hearing issues/implant and it was very loud inside the resteraunt (music). With not many people there when I arrived (6 in the resteraunt and the rest around the bar), I would question whether my ear could take the sound volume (in my opinion). Not sure why sound levels have to be so loud.
Risotto with steak tips is ABSOLUTELY TENDER AND AMAZING.Probably the last place I ate smth close to this risotto was restaurant in Versace Manson in Miami, FLYou didn't disappoint me New England!Hospitality and staff fly on unbeatable level and height. Great!
the waitress serving us was super respectful of my service dog! she even gave my dog a bowl of water to drink! the food was top notch quality! the atmosphere in this restaurant is very nice to be in! definitely want to come here again!just a thing to note here: there's an elevator and that's the only way to get in here, so if you have a service dog, they must be able to tolerate elevators!
I first went to 435 grill when they first opened the experience and food were average; however, 2+ years later, post-pandemic and I think they are really thriving. We got a large takeout order on a Saturday, everything was correct and was ready quickly. Food was excellent and prices were so reasonable. I'm looking forward to going back and making this a more regular spot for us.
I stopped here as a last minute lunch decision while in the area. I was happy to find sufficient parking and an elevator to bring me up to the first floor. The restaurant is quite large with a huge bar surrounded buy high top tables and another large dining room. All tables were quite spread out and there was no cramped feeling. They have a full bar yet the liquors available were not easy to view. I had a glass of rosé and my husband had a draft beer from a local brewery. The wine list encompassed a variety of choices. We both had fried haddock and scallops which came with french fries and coleslaw. It was quite good though not extra special. The portion was above average and we brought home most of the french fries. Prices are in line with similar restaurants in the area. The restaurant is very clean including restrooms. Our server was very friendly and checked on us regularly. I would return though I suggest the food needs a tad of pizzazz.
Went for dinner with my husband tonight. Great atmosphere not too loud tables spaced apart nicely so you weren't right on top of someone else. The only downfall was the poutine, it was dry because it doesn't have gravy, which was sad because I was so excited when I saw poutine on the menu. The rest of the food & drinks were delish. Definitely order the risotto as a side it's amazing. We will definitely be back again.
First time to 435 Bar & Grille, very spacious and clean ! Plenty of parking . We had the broiled seafood combo and grilled chicken and veggies with tzaziki sauce . Also had a Chef’s Salad, clam chowder and a tomato, orzo and beef short rib soup ! The seafood combo had a nice presentation, good quality shrimp, scallops , and haddock and got good reviews. My chicken, TBO, was not plentiful and could have been more juicy. There was only (1) piece of tomato and some cooked onions . I hope, being constructive , a proper Greek type chicken kabob would be very juicy ; there should be chunks of char grilled tomatoes, onions and maybe big fancy peppers . I hope management will see this and make it happen because it’s a nice place to go ! Both chowder/soups were very good ! Chef’s Salad was excellent as we enjoyed it thoroughly! Nice presentation! My mai tai was also very good !
It took them 3 hours to go from seating us to paying the check. When we placed our order, the waitress was extremely rude, even going so far as to tell my friend NOT to order as much food as he wanted. I ordered a burger along with an appetizer and a salad. We waited an hour for our apps, which were...fine I guess. Not worth the wait. My friends were brought their dinners while I was in the restroom, and we assumed by burger would not be far behind. It never came. I tried to catch the waitress's attention, but she was straight up ignoring our table. We looked around, and everyone else seemed to be experiencing the same thing. Our waitress was incredibly rude and we will not be dining here again because of her. Otherwise though it was a pretty cool spot. Just wish the service was much better.
435 is my favorite restaurant in town. Good food, pleasant staff and decently priced. The marinated steak tips and fried ravioli are my go to. It doesn’t get much better for the price!
