This place needs to get it together. The customer service is terrible and rude and always rushing you in a way to pick your sides quickly without giving yourself a chance to check their items and inspect them. And their closing hours is at 10p and they already closing doors at 830pm or 9pm. Also when when I want something specific they try to lead me to a different direction "like no just give me what I want". Place has potential to do better but need to hire the better workers. The second location in Haverhill do a way better job.
I once rated this restaurant 5 stars. I have since changed my rating. There has been two separate instances where I ordered plate- rice, beans and chicken and they barely gave any food- but charged me 10 dollars for the plate. How can I enjoy food if they barely give any????? The first time, they gave me ONE SMALL spoon of beans. Literally ONE SPOON. That’s it. After ONE bite: the beans were GONE. That is not a SERVING OF BEANS. That is a SAMPLE. But they’re charging me full price. Today was the second time. Same thing. Except this time, they didn’t give me any rice. It looked like they gave me someone’s leftovers. We asked for more rice. STILL Cheap. Waste of money. Why spend money when they’re not giving me any food? After eating the 3 spoons of food they gave me- I was STILL hungry and had to buy food elsewhere. The servings are appalling and feel I’ve been robbed. Used to be a big fan but this isn’t worth my money. 10 dollars for a few bites of what looks like someone’s leftovers. Why did I spend 20 dollars ????? On 3 bites ???? This is the last time they get a dollar from me

As an southern California native, where one can find a taco shop on just about every corner, Lupita’s Tacos is one of the best taco spots in MA that I’ve found. The food is always fresh. The Tortas, burritos and soups are just spot on. I’ve been to other places that consider themselves high end Mexican restaurants in MA/New England and they don’t even come close to comparing to Lupita’s food. Enjoy!
