This place was beyond my expectation. I'm thinking just another Spanish restaurant in Lawrence. My favorite part is it had its own parking lot that is free. I didn't have to park 2 to 3 blocks away and walk like I do with every other restaurant downtown. Beautiful outdoor seating and beautiful furniture décor inside. I walked in and I was completely taken aback. And... the food was amazing!!! My friends and I all shared our dishes so we can try different things. The churasco was okay a little salty but not over powering. But.... thier Mamajuana Seafood Mofongo that's to die for. It was such a wonderful experience eating it. Every bite was a surprise, the flavor was perfectly put together. I can't wait to go back again just to have that dish. The price is a bit up the but that's pretty much everywhere now with inflation. Hope you enjoy it maybe I'll see you there!
Outstanding food; the Shrimp in tomato creole sauce was the best I had in years. The Yuca Mash and maduros ( Fried plantain ) were perfect. Our server Wilmer; top notch!
Second time visiting Mamajuana. Let me tell you... it's perfect. The environment is a 5. Clean and elegant. The staff is a 5. They're friendly and helpful. Lastly, the food is a 5. Quality and consistency are always there. Hands down the best restaurant in Lawrence. I recommend it and will only visit this restaurant whenever I come to Lawrence. Keep it up Mamajuana. BEST OF THE BEST !!!
I don’t recommend this place at all. The waiter was rude never checked in on us. And the food had no seasoning to it at all, very dry. My stepson asked for a burger with just cheese and they bring him 2 buns with just cheese. We had to ask where was the meat. He argued back with us about it. We will never return back not worth the money at all.
Went there for Dominican mothers day. Had a server called Marcela and she was so kind! Very attentive and patient with us. Seemed busy, but she was quick to take care of us!

No lo recomiendo mal servicio la comida duro más de 3 Horas en llegàr después que pago me voy a ami casa tuve que virar que hubo un error con el sistema de ellos y ya me habían cobrado pero después de tanto esperar por esa comida uno loco por irse llego a mi casa y tenia que virar personalmente si no los que estaban conmigo no podían resolver con el recibo de ellos para cancelar todo tenia que yo pasár mi tarjeta fúe màs el mal rato que otra cosa horrible deverdad que por eso como lejos los hispanos para un servicio no lo dan bien nunca y todo se lo ponen a uno más difícil jamás Vuelvo allí pésimo servicio
Usually I would give it a 5 star. But today our serves barely paid attention to us. She was on the phone, EATING by the register. We had to wait or ask different server for things at our table. While out server ate 3x...We were sitting infront of her. I was so upset another serve noticed me and decided to assist us. While the manager with a blue color shirt did nothing. Very disappointed. Never again!!!
