Great food, reasonably priced and friendly service. Called our order in, had a 10 minute wait upon arrival but met a very hospitable server who sat and chatted with me at the bar with me while I waited so the time flew by. Had the yoga bowl with steak and chipotle chicken to go. Both were great. Learned they have specials every weekend so ask for those when you come.
Great home-made Mexican food.
Came for lunch and had the mole chicken, which was fantastic, but completely innocent of vegetables. Good staff. Venue is a destination in itself. Love the artwork and wall murals. Looking forward to visiting again once it finds a new location.
One of Lawrence’s greatest places to dine, relax and share an experience that feels like home. 30-years of magnificent Mexican food but owners that want to make sure you’re experience was enjoyable. ❤️ the food ? the atmosphere ? the owners & entire staff I already miss you all ?
My husband got the salmon and shrimp special, it came to the table steaming hot, and he enjoyed it, Although he thought the salmon was slightly overcooked. I got the veggie fajita, and not only was it barely warm, but the veggies were kind of greasy, and seemed sautéed . I’ve never had a fajita anywhere where it didn’t come to the table piping hot and seared on the pan. The veggies also had no flavor whatsoever. No spices, or anything. It had all the flavor of plain steamed vegetables. I also requested black beans, and got a double serving of refried beans instead. These were also barely warm, and tasteless. There was no guacamole, and no rice for sides. The only thing that salvaged it was the salsa. No spiciest at all, but still pretty good. The fajita was a huge disappointment. Also, not much for the price. On the plus side, the sangria was really good. Because there were so many good reviews for this place, we will give it another chance.
Always excellent! Authentic Mexican food and nice atmosphere, great margaritas!
We went here while visiting friends on a recommendation from one of their colleagues from Mexico. Tables are spaced appropriately for extra precautions during COVID. I had enchiladas oaxaquenas, and the mole sauce was amazing!!! House margarita was also a good value.Plan to take extra time for street parking!
